The algorithm decided to show me your videos again today despite being subscribed for years. So glad to see the channel progress
The sound quality is impressive and well-balanced.
I bought one a month ago. Sound was great, button layout was ok, anc is competent, they fold which is travel friendly, the app was good, microphones were better than in momentum 4s and ankers q45. I thought they'd be a keeper until I realized that when walking the headband is squeeking like crazy. After 3 attempts I packed them up and returned them, such a shame they couldn't get the plastic quality right, even if a slight price increase would be needed.
Sounds like bad luck as so far mine are not squeaking at all.
last time i bought edifier w820nb plus,i was disappointed because of the volume,it was quite low compared to same priced headphones like anker soundcore life q20+,now i'm planning to buy the edifier w950nb,does this headphone has the same "low volume" issue like edifier w820nb plus??
Liking the new thumbnail style.
Thank you, but so far it doesn't get more clicks so seems a waste of my time (so far).
@@Techtablets You should have looked at the headphones with a "surprising/not bad at all" looking face. That is the visual trigger. Lol.
You know I first made a thumb with that but decided to ditch it as it looks silly and too clickbaity.
@@Techtablets probably ppl don't correlate these kind of thumbnail to your content, ur content is more of a simple, formal, and kinda old fashioned type of thumbnail, just keep doing what works sir, if you want change, add a different type of content i suppose, instead of review you could talk about strictly tech, either talks abt Bluetooth tech, Audio codec, etc
other people might already doing it but people love to hear it explains from different perspective or simply just different person
Looks like an ad and somewhat generic here on RUclips
I love how this video has turned out truly enjoyed it
Completely agree. The treble sounds a little artificial compared to bass and mids.
Were you able to adjust EQ to improve?
@@jaykeilai even with EQ adjustment, still sounds a little artificial. For the price, great headphones. Finding myself returning to wired headphones again. Sony MDR7506 still tops!
The thumbnail has a fresh look. Can't help but notice. Hope to see more .😮
So far it hasn't really increased my clicks lol But maybe I'll try a few more if it fits!
Great review, thanks! Is there an app for PC like there is mobile phone to turn on LDAC on/ / off or when connected to PC via BT it will be in the PC BT options? Do you have a hierarchy of headphones you've reviewed over time that would indicate whether it would be worth spending more / less? For example, if I were to put in a little extra, what would you recommend, bang for buck per'se.
Nice review, just bought this 950 on this last sale, because I really like the 820 and use it more than the XM4 or the Anker Q30, just miss the shortcut to open the mic holding a hand over the cup.
Good choice!
Hello, may I know why you use the edifier more than the sony and anker? Does it sound better? I just ordered the w820nb plus since I can't exactly spend more for the 950, I hope it's not disappointing cuz it's still a lot of money for me 😬

That thumbnail, it's great, love it lol
Thanks But so far it seems to give no more clicks...😆
Thanks for the review. I think these will work great for me. I used your link.
Awesome, thank you!
@@Techtablets update: I like em! Without ldac, I have to say I was very disappointed initially. Getting it to work with my Samsung s21 was a challenge. But eventually I did get everything functioning as it should and WOW! They're actually fantastic headphones for the price.

Which are better: these or Marshall Major IV?
Sorry I haven't used and tested that Marshall Major IV so I can't say.
Rest the headphone spread across the case itself to prevent the headphones from flexing in, this reduces the head pressure.
Very good tip there thanks!
What is spread and case? I don't follow...
He means the top head band and then the case you get with it. This forces it open a bit more and would reduce the tension of it applying pressure. Or at least in theory this would reduce it.
Sbc is good enough for up to 320kb/s, LDAC only makes sense for uncompressed audio
Considering most sources like youtube, spotify etc can barely provide 192 kb/s at most ldac is just a fancy codec that nobody will use daily, unless they have gigabytes of storage just for music
I still got my old bluedio f2 with 57mm and sbc that will make anything below 300 $ mark sound like tin cans
Amazon music unlimited. Common. Mainstream. Lots of FLAC... Hd, ultra hd and ultra hd atmos. Everywhere. Increasingly common. Not just a gimmick.
Try to listen normal - Rock or Classical music at 900kbs at FLAC. If you don't hear the difference - God, than I feel for you...
Waiting review for LS880NB PRO, bought it in China last week. Looks same, but it’s new version.
Does the mic work when wired?
How is the head band padding on top after 9 months did it disintegrate or get chipped? How does this headphones hold up after 9 months planning to buy one.
The battery life is impressive
informative! thanks
Glad it was helpful!
Did he mention the price? I suppose the competition is something like Soundcore life Q35? Surely not Sony wh1000x...
No but there is a link in the description because the prices are always changing i'll be guaranteed to get it wrong in the video. They are $179.99
Hye. Can you do review and comparison for new brand of edifier w830nb too?
is the microphone good ?
There is a sample in this video of the mics :)
Help me out guys. I need pros and cron. Im confused which one to pick. Edifier wh950nb, jbl tune 770nc or sony ch720n.
You mention the ANC is better than in-car headphones, how does it compare with other over-ear designs it more directly competes with though?
This over-ear design certainly beats the in-ear design for ANC. These are better than the 1More SonoFlow I find which is a similar but cheaper pair I reviewed.
clearer, stronger, more realistic, detail retrievals, the e12
itll become nice addition to the q1, will close the gap to desktop significantly
do you think that the W820NB PLUS earpad can fit with the WH950NB? Just in case i need to replace the earpads

how does it compare with the Sony headphones though?
There are other channels that actually have comparisons to Sony etc on RUclips!
That's correct.
Not quite as good, but almost and for the price difference it's worth it unless you want better highs. The Sony's are more detailed in high frequency reproduction.
Which ones you choose, These ones or the 1 more's sonoflow ?
After using them both these are better to my ears, sound signature and ANC. Both are very good and the sonoflow's are a lot cheaper.
Nice review. Can someone who owns these confirm whether the ANC is available when using the 3.5mm wired connection please? i.e. when watching inflight movies on a plane.
Hi, yes it is.
@@Techtablets Thank you!
given that all controls such as anc enabling is thru the app, is it still possible to use if if connecting the headphones to my pc? im gonna need the anc for virtual calls etc. i worry that anc can only be toggled with app when used with phones only.
Do they really have 6 microphones in total (3 per side)?, because all other reviews i've seen for these headphones said that they have 4 microphone (with enc and all those good features)...
...even though, the microphone test sounds pretty darn good, if only a bit quiet; plus it seems that the Ambient/Transparency mode is rather competent.
Yes one at the bottom, the outer and then and inner I can see. The mics are good from my test it was recorded straight into my video editor like always. I think for the price point they are damn good, my only nitpick is the highs could be a little more crisp and more detailed. Tweaking up the high freqs via an EQ a little really improved it and I know that these are keepers for me. I can't wait to use them on my next flight for the ANC and tune.
I just bought this for $ 105 (taxes and shipping included). Crazy value at this price.
Note: limited 5 orders on 4.4 super sale day in Vietnam.
Wow thats so cheap! Wish they were as cheap over here. I think they are almost 100 more expensive -_-
@@earthuser4245 if it still under 200, I would say Worth! It's a perfect replacement for my 4 years old sonny XM3. The only drawback I found on this headphone is the earpad. I don't think it gonna last for long.
@@quocbaolongtran3338 How do you feel about the volume level? Some say it's not loud enough. Could you install a volume booster and see if it works please?
You got it for so cheap! 😭
@@sherine9033 it's retail at $112 U.S now after 7 months in my home country. Here in Canada it's $179 plus shipping. XD
Anyone compared these to Anker's Soundcore Space Q45 ? Thanks for the review!
😅😅😊
HMMM that's a very SONY looking case. Almost Actionable.
The gold looks type-c ports are very similar yes...
@@Techtablets I meant the carrying case, lol. The headphones look very of their own style.
Looks similar to Sony-XB910N 😮
It has as bit of a Sony wh1000XM4 look to more I think.
Youre not gonna see balanced armatures in headphones. Theyre very small and for efficiency, they have to be very closely coupled with the ear, which is why you only see them in use in iems.
True or some type of hybrid driver with a smaller tweeter in front of the 40mm
@@Techtablets 1More did release a pair of over-ear headphones with multiple drivers a few years ago, there has been no follow up though
These or Sony xb910?
I will pick oppo
Actually the technic anc are far better
how much do they weigh?
295 gr.
No sensor control
Sensor? You mean the IR sensor auto on and off if you remove them?
@@Techtablets volume, next trek
Are the ear cups removable/replaceable?
Yes! They pop right on and off for some reason my edit has that clip missing. But I was meant to show it.
@@Techtablets Awesome, thanks for the quick reply!
