Thank you for this super informative video!!!! My boyfriend purchased a wheel for me recently and I wanted to add these pins to replicate a “professional” wheel. I hope to DIY this soon! Cheers!
Love this! I was searching at affordable Amazon wheels and couldn't find one with bat pins. Do you have reviews or recommendations on affordable pottery wheels. I would love your opinion. thanks!
Thanks! I have only tried two of the cheap pottery wheels from Amazon so far. They are both made by Vevor and I was pleasantly surprised with what I got. I don't think they would make it as full time studio wheels but they should be enough for a beginner to learn how to throw smaller pots. I have a video review for each one on the channel. Thanks for watching.
The "20" in the thread specification is the number of threads per inch, so a two-inch bolt would have 40 thread ridges (or valleys - I'm not sure if I'm using the correct terminology). Just a little added info.

Glad it was helpful. I hope your project goes (or went) well.
Great video, very clearly examined. I will be doing this as soon as I buy my cheap pottery wheel 😀
Thanks for your comment. Good luck!
Thank you for this instruction...just ran into this situation and now can handle making it accommodate bats.
Glad it was informative. Thanks for watching.
