@@adamneeson was good stuff mate. I would love to do a video in the Badger of an overnighter. Its all open water here though. Unless i did lake Illawarra ???
@thesaltybadger If you get some glamour weather it's worth trying. In open water the cabin can get a bit noisy though, I've lined the cabin walls with foam floor mats because of this. The mats made a huge improvement, both in reducing noise and condensation.
@@dota2lol942 Cheers! What's your local area? Yep, $50 doesn't go far with live blood worms. However, I've dug them myself and I can honestly see why they charge so much. Blood worms are harder to buy these days too, it seems like a lot of wormers have retired it given the game up.
@@dota2lol942 I don't want to upset people and give away specific spots on a public forum. But I find the pin area, the coomera river and the nerang river the most consistent. Pick an area to focus on and start with Google maps. Use the satellite view to locate the larger sand banks. Fish the edges of the channel and over the sandbanks until you start to find where the fish are holding. I prefer scouting new places at low tide, look for yabby banks and soft mud against mangroves. Find the food sources and you will find the fish. In narrow parts of a river you can quite literally stop every 50m or so, fish for 20 mins and then move another 50m. I hope this helps you out.
