    Such a professional way to work, I wish you are here in Japan. My AE86 rear lights are not working, I would like to know what should be checked from that ball or if the switch needs to be replaced.

      Check the harness that plugs into the rev switch. Those barrels sometimes just need to be tweaked to fit tighter.

    Well done man, I like the way you work. I have a t50 box in Levin ,it’s making noise only at when engine is idling but when I press the clutch it goes away,no whining noise in any gears. Any advice please?

      Worn input shaft or bearing is very common.

    I tried contacting you about fixing my tranny but maybe I didn't do it right.
    The one shop that thinks they can do it is AAA approved but they may not know what they're getting into.
    I'm sure my car can make it to your shop but it's a long ways.
    If there's a better way to contact you let me know.
    Thanks.

    hey man great video, I have a T50 that engages every gear except first and second, the trans is out of the car, i removed the tail shaft case to take a look at the three little linkages that connect to the shift forks, the one for 1st and 2nd is jammed up and completely stiff, any idea what could be causing this? thanks

      I've seen broken springs or stick synchro on the 1-2hub

    What cause 4th gear to lockout when down shifting from 5th to 4th. But 3rd to 4th shift smoothly?

    • @CMAutohaus
      @CMAutohaus  3 года назад

      worn input bearing or worn 4th dog teeth. 4th gear is the input shaft

    Why is one side of the shift spring stronger ?

    • @CMAutohaus
      @CMAutohaus  4 года назад

      To better center the shifter so when you shift to 3rd, it naturally wants to center

      @@CMAutohaus that makes sense. I actually have the stiffer springs on both sides .
      Got one from another T50.
