one of the best topics ever... Any country definitely need such stringent action against any intentive measure and action which are against the country. on the other hand we must keep in mind that a law must be defined with its clear views and defination.. the membership issue must needed a strong review and reform... so that Innocents get justice.
Thank you so much Sir. Much needed lecture. Please upload more sessions on Indian Polity, Political Thought and Constitutional Amendments and Acts. Full support
I don't know anything about Mao and his teachings, but I want to solve the Naxal problem, for that, I got to study his teachings so that I can prevent any further loss of lives, but Thanks to UAPA I wouldn't even dare to even google that. what a shame... this sounds like the exact opposite of democracy somehow.
In my views UAPA should be broaden to include mob lynchings as it also involves an association of people taking law in their own hands and undermining the rule of state. For those who are detained without trial , a time period say 6 months should be fixed to collect evidences to file chargesheet. But sir having one confusion under article 20 for criminal charges no person should be convicted of offence except for violation of law. I mean isn't it violating article 20.
I am glad someone picked this up. YES IT is in contravention of the spirit of Article 20 . But remember , all freedoms have restrictions. - so does article 20.
I am not preparing for any exams but really liked the way put all the details in video I think that is how journalism should be done , with facts and without opinions , I really thanks you from bottom of heart for putting that effort. Would it possible to make such a video on all those imp laws that government is trying to bring in or the changes in the current law that's imp to know just as a citizen of India
Why it why violates article 14 is that equal protection of Law if same offence similarly to uapa act punishable under ipc 153 b imprisonment of three years it's self contradict
There needs to be strong provisions in the UAPA so as to avoid the misuse of it. The incarceration or deterioration of the quality of life at present under UAPA must be stopped forthwith. According to me, if a person is found guilty, there must be some testament to prove and this is what our law system is based upon. Until and unless you have any valid proof, you can't put fingers.
sir just put d politicians n other people before putting d common people for 9 or 5 yrs in jail then they realise its baseless bakwaas if reading literature is crime in UAPA act it should be stop afterall books are written for reading n getting knowledge the reason for someone detntion should be logical reasonable
This Statute is quite harsh But Needless To say this Statute should be there subject to The provision The Honorable supreme Court Should reconsider Or judicial Review Because Of The ADMINISTRATIVE Law If Any discretionary power become arbitrary the remedy is Available court of Law Firstly what At All things To be see? there should be time bound the police personal within 6 month all investigation needed to be done if not accessed should be released 2)benifit of doubt should be give to accused 3) And burden of prove should be give to accuse 4) this this Statute violate article equal protection of law there is discrimination in Application of Law And article 20 as my sister mentioned below 19 and 21 My opinion

Indeed, this is itself contravening the fundamental rights.

I think UAPA is effective. bcoz every one know what happend in JNU
sir just put d politicians n other people before putting d common people for 9 or 5 yrs in jail then they realise
its baseless bakwaas if reading literature is crime in UAPA act it should be stop afterall books are written for reading n getting knowledge

Article 14
People like Vijay maliya 🤣🤣
mumbai attack 2008 not 2006
This Statute is quite harsh But Needless To say this Statute should be there subject to The provision The Honorable supreme Court Should reconsider Or judicial Review Because Of The ADMINISTRATIVE Law If Any discretionary power become arbitrary the remedy is Available court of Law
Firstly what At All things To be see?
there should be time bound the police personal within 6 month all investigation needed to be done if not accessed should be released
2)benifit of doubt should be give to accused
3) And burden of prove should be give to accuse
4) this this Statute violate article
equal protection of law
there is discrimination in Application of Law
And article 20 as my sister mentioned below 19 and 21
My opinion
