Ventura Harbor has fishing boats, seafood restaurants and a retail center, the Ventura Harbor Village.
The Channel Islands National Park Headquarters is also located at the harbor, and boats to the Channel Islands depart from there daily.
The Westside of Ventura is a large subdivision of neighborhoods along Ventura Avenue.

The beginning reminded me of SLO-TV. The world moves at a faster pace than that. Everyone rushing and not taking the time to enjoy the view. They must have edited out all the people honking at each other for not moving faster, lol. I know, this is my neck of the woods, lol.
From the harbor it's only 10 minutes more to go Highway 33 through Ojai.
But now you can take Highway 150 through Ojai to Santa Barbara.
I promise you will be glad you did
