I started watching your videos about a year ago. Really enjoy your deer ones. I have to say I give you major credit for being able to sit in the stand and not see deer. I couldn’t handle not seeing anything.
There is a rodent proof spray foam insulation made by Great Stuff that you could spray in the roof to keep the squirrels out. Thanks for another enjoyable video.
Dog gone it even the deer is practicing social distancing LOL sorry you didn’t get one this year but nevertheless I enjoy the deer camp videos along with Duck camp and of course the winter camp videos once again thanks Joe for letting us in on your adventures God bless you and yours and I look forward to seeing the next video.
First time i watched your channel.I'm 73. Now and hunted out of a little camp in Pennsylvania a lot of my life the last deer i shot was 2 years ago I'm done hunting now thanks for taking me back to deer camp
Thanks for taking us along Joe. I love it when we drive up to tent and you sit and talk to us like we are sat there with you. I love watching George’s vids too. Give my best wishes to your Dad. And I hope you all get to have a wonderful christmas.
I've never watched your hunting trip videos before because I thought I wouldn't be that interested in them. I've watched both of this year's. I'm now going to subscribe to this channel.
I enjoyed the drive of the area & the stories. Even though the winter trip means cold weather so the lake will freeze, I can’t wait. Hopefully you can sit & drink a beer & look out at the frozen lake. Only thing to do is put wood on the fire. 🪵🔥
I don't think I'd like isolation like that I like the tent but prefer living in the city I'd get bored living at the tent there's barely cars on those roads he drives on lol
Could you install some type of metal screen over the hole by the dresser? Something pliable enough to go around the dresser corner but tough enough that the squirrels could chew through it. Just a thought.
Literally knowing nothing about outdoor living. Thank You! For giving a guy like me a wonderful view of how nice it is. Also! This is the most I have heard you talk... nice!
I sure love it when you tell us stories from 'back in the day'.... I see a lot of potential firewood in that big slash pile. Sorry you didn't get your deer, but there's always next year!
I think the deer were hunkered down, getting used to the cold, just like we do when the first cold temps come. I want to thank you for this channel. It brings sanity that counterbalances the insanity shoved down our throats. Your skills and usefulness--you are a role model--a much needed role model. I love your tent, I love your kids, I love Melissa, I love your dad, and I love you, too, for you all have given my life much happiness. God bless you. Merry Christmas to all.
Loved these hunting movies thanks for sharing Joe. Now to wait for the winter trip and keep watching Zach's work and video updates on northern seclusion.
I enjoyed the whole hunting experience Joe, you definitely have a vision and i was very sorry you didn't bag a buck. You work very hard and you should be rewarded. I am looking forward to watching your next farmhouse videos your place is coming along pretty good. Stay safe and healthy Joe and God bless.
Your patience in the stand is outstanding. Here in north Missouri there’s so many deer it’s hard to imagine someplace that there so scarce. Great video as always
Joe thanks so much for taking us along your hunting and camping videos . I really look forward to these videos every year! Keep up the great work! God bless you and your family!
Thank you Sir, really liked you showing where all you have camped, hunted and explored in the past and hope you can go back when it is warmer and show us again. Especially that little lake with the big sunfish and bass. I really appreciate all that you do!!!
Great video thank u for bringing us who don't go with u... an you are my kinda camp mate....so clean an tidy...such respect for the care u put into ur place....my kids anbi goto relax 1 weekend outta a yr in the mountains in a nice air B&B cabin an I spend my whole time tidying..lol my kids get all put out with me but I enjoy tidy an keeping others places nice.. thank u again 💓
Thanks for the great deer hunting videos this season. I really enjoyed them as it is a part of my season also. Thanks also for taking the time to make these as you will never know the inspiration they bring. Regards Mark
I remember 1991 well. It was harsh. I shot my first doe that year as a 16 year old. Fast forward 30 years.. I harvested a buck out of the same stand. Wow so many memories since '91,, Deer hunting is more than hunting deer. For a deer hunter, the experience cannot be put into words. It's by far my most favorite thing ever
I would get some sheet metal and make a boxed insert to go around the end of the dresser that could be screwed into the ceiling boards. A little butyl sealant and some insulation and your good to go.
Well Joe another year in the tent it's been nice to be able to stick around and watch you hunt and watch your kids grow up. There isn't has many deer around it seems has in the early years.🤔 God bless you and your family Joe have a wonderful Christmas looking forward to more videos. Has always much peace and love from northeast Texas 🤠✌️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Boy do I wish you guys the best of luck in the future, I am from Minnesota and hunt public land in central Minnesota, so watching these are so relatable. keep em up
I think Zach has the right idea looking for a new deer hunting area. My belief is is that the wolves have depleted the deer population in your area, the reason that you are not seeing tracks is a sign of no deer. Once the deer are gone the wolves will move away to find new hunting areas, but it will take three to four years for the deer to return. It happened to my brothers hunting area in northern Alberta, where they even killed off the elk population.
Ah shucks!! Almost had a tear in my eyes, when I realized that you didn't get a deer!! Well better luck next year!! Enjoyed every minute of it!! Looking forward to the Louisiana and Winter trip videos!! I sure would like to see that little lake you talked about, with the big sunfish!! Sounds like a great place!! Hope you had a great time!! Stay safe my friend.👍🤓👍🤓Randy.
Hey Joe, It's great to see these tent videos. I'm not sure who's more disappointed, You and not seeing much for deer? Or me, knowwaiting for another tent deer hunting movie. Lol. Thank you for taking the time to do these videos.
Somehow this video just popped up and I grew up in Wisconsin and now I live in Florida but I got so caught up in the video just like I was there with him. Might sound stupid but I found myself a bit disappointed like I use to get whenever he said deer hunting was done for the year. I only wish I was able to make it back each year for deer hunting but I never can, man I really miss it!! Thank you for the video and the memories it brought back. Hope you have a nice Christmas.
Loved to have such a place as that to go too!! To me that is a place I’d be as much as possible during hunting season !! Love the stove thinking of getting one myself. Figures I’d buy few stoves and always find one that I should of gotten. Hear nothing but good reviews on them!! Glad I stumbled across your channel. Great cabin/Great all around place aswell as your dads place as seen on another video. Thanks for sharing !!
I know some folks just love this kind of thing. I froze my butt off in the sticks in the Army. Sitting out in a blind or stand doesn’t even seem remotely appealing after that. More power and Deer for you guys and gals.
👊yeah😃 been waiting for this! Going to watch now.. going to be a windy last weekend but the deer were moving the final Sunday even in 50mph gusts.. I hoping you get one joe
Ah crap, was hoping you would have at least seen some. Deer pop is down over there for sure, That logged area might be a good idea for next year but get on it! Don't wait till next season it won't be available. No deer but still a good season enjoyed every minute and you did too!thanks again for filming your. '21 hunt
Joe .. We love you and your Tent videos. Do not get tired of them like you said people reply to you > "Videos are so repetitious", how rude. These kinds of people do not appreciate what you do. We have seen some videos over 3,4 times, so what people, enjoy Joe!@! Take my words you people...What's better TV Dems News Media telling lie after lie, OR Joe Jenson up at the tent ..Enough said to you rude people ... KEEP IT UP JOE, WE LOVE YOU MUCH ...
I would definitely be back in that logged area next year. It looked like there was quite a bit of logging going on, where if other guys were back there you'd still be ok. Or go the second week, usually after the first few days after opening day you have the woods to yourself
I said it before, and I'll say it again, there is nothing more enjoyable to watch on RUclips, than watching ,"The Tent".
I totally agree, I love deer season at the tent!! 👍🏻👍🏻
U got it buddy
Yep
I watch it from Brazil and envy all of you with this pretty winter. Thanks to The Tent that came to refresh us all
Minnesota it’s beautiful
Joe, you really out did yourself on this one. It felt like we were there hanging out and listening to you tell us stories. Thanks! 🍻
I started watching your videos about a year ago. Really enjoy your deer ones. I have to say I give you major credit for being able to sit in the stand and not see deer. I couldn’t handle not seeing anything.
Same here I go one sit and get frustrated
There is a rodent proof spray foam insulation made by Great Stuff that you could spray in the roof to keep the squirrels out. Thanks for another enjoyable video.
The “Tent” is what got me hooked 😏. Years ago……awesome videos Joe, thanks 👍🤠

Welcome me aboard from one old fogey to another, you will definitely enjoy tagging along with Joe!
It amazes me how you never show a road sign on your trips to the tent. Keeps the secret of where it's located. Love the vlogs.
Joe aint no dummy
Absolutely gorgeous scenery up there. Thanks for all of it, Joe!
Joe, Thanks for the trip through the woods! That reminded me driving around the logging trails up north 40 years ago.
I enjoyed the drive of the area & the stories. Even though the winter trip means cold weather so the lake will freeze, I can’t wait. Hopefully you can sit & drink a beer & look out at the frozen lake. Only thing to do is put wood on the fire. 🪵🔥
It's so beautiful at the tent - I don't think I'd want to leave.
I don't think I'd like isolation like that I like the tent but prefer living in the city I'd get bored living at the tent there's barely cars on those roads he drives on lol
Thank you for the great video, Thumbs UP👍👍.
I have to ask. Do you ever wake up sometimes after Sara has left and catch yourself saying " Sara it's 4:30 time to wake up"?
Could you install some type of metal screen over the hole by the dresser? Something pliable enough to go around the dresser corner but tough enough that the squirrels could chew through it. Just a thought.
Exactly Arlene! I’d use some 1/4 wire mesh fencing/small animal screen and double it over the open area then tape it up with flex seal tape.
Literally knowing nothing about outdoor living. Thank You! For giving a guy like me a wonderful view of how nice it is. Also! This is the most I have heard you talk... nice!
That was really nice checking out those areas you used to hunt.
I sure love it when you tell us stories from 'back in the day'.... I see a lot of potential firewood in that big slash pile. Sorry you didn't get your deer, but there's always next year!

I live at Lake of the Ozarks. I see the ones that didn’t make it all over the road.
Joe thanks so much for taking us along your hunting and camping videos . I really look forward to these videos every year! Keep up the great work! God bless you and your family!

I really liked the cruising around in the snow you know Joe. Thanks!!
Great video-loved the tour of the logging roads-reminds me of the northern WI national forest we hunt.
Thank you and your family for sharing your adventures with us.

Thanks for the great deer hunting videos this season. I really enjoyed them as it is a part of my season also. Thanks also for taking the time to make these as you will never know the inspiration they bring.

Thanks Joe. As always enjoyed the videos
Thank you for your "walk down memory lane." I just saw a nice six pointer in our back yard in Oakdale. City deer have no fear.
Well Joe another year in the tent it's been nice to be able to stick around and watch you hunt and watch your kids grow up. There isn't has many deer around it seems has in the early years.🤔

You and your videos are great for society. Many more young men need to get the pad and pencil out while watching. Hard work and Grit 👍
Joe .. We love you and your Tent videos. Do not get tired of them like you said people reply to you > "Videos are so repetitious", how rude. These kinds of people do not appreciate what you do. This is the only channel I hit the like button before watching :)
