@@toddgiaro7657 actually, it is flood salvage from 2011, everything passes the sniff test and it runs great.
You don't need to open that ryobi battery, just hotwire another battery that is charged next to it so you get enough voltage to get it charged...

I believe those Ryobi batteries will be replaced by Ryobi up to 3 years. There is a battery 800 number to call. Probably at your local Home Depot
I think you can get past the safe zone on those Ryobi batteries by using NIMH mode for a short while on a charger.

I have opened possibly hundreds of li-ion packs and in my experience most of the faults are due to the BMS while most of the cost is in the cells. Even when the problem is not the BMS it is usually only a small minority of cells. However, if left in a faulty condition the cells will inevitably discharge and degrade, over time.
Now I learn something new regarding BMS = Bell Movement Simulator lol

For Ryobi - 2 options - "jump start it" (videos on YT) or reach out to Ryobi - they replaced my Lithium battery that didn't charge AFTER warranty expired (within first 2 years). YMMV but worth a shot.
When I saw the title i thought you did a video with Tavarish 😂,.but then i realized it was the battery of the car that JrGo sold to Alex Hahaha Jake and Tyler a bit drunk doing things. What can go wrong 😆😆

Disposal is easy right? Manually charge each cell for a day or so with a random charger, then take it out to the country and shoot it and watch it burn. Seems like the safest way possible. (I may not be an electrical engineer)

It’s roughly 3 months of grime. I usually just soak in degreaser and toss it in the wash after

They're not swollen. It's recommended to mount them under pressure and you just dremeled off what was keeping them under pressure.
Pouch cells are the devil... should have never been used especially not in cars. They cause so many issues, a tiny issue and they bloat or a tiny hole and they get on fire 😬
That's why Tesla has never used them (they tested them but decided they're unfit) and now GM is ditching their Ultium pouch architecture and switching to cylindrical cells - and eventually every car maker will go to prismatic (for LFP) and cylindrical (for NMC).
Using pouch cells is like carrying your gasoline in a supermarket plastic bag... and then trying to protect it in a cardboard box 🤦♂
I have a EGO and have a couple dead batteries and look forward to you doing the Ryobi batteries.

All you need to do is run power/ground jumpers from a good pack for about a minute

Sounds like you have a W212 with eco stop/start. I replace those all the time
no fire, I'm totally disappointed, I waited for the whole video too. I had a drone with a lithium pack that burned up when it crashed within two seconds back when I was in college.
I used to do tons of electronics repair. Plenty of batteries yeeted into the parking lot when they’d go up
