G'day Jacob ! Those apricots and peaches sure look good and juicy. Thanks for sharing this update on your garden. Hope you'll be able to grow some watermelon to maturity.... Time will tell. :)
Jacob, nice to have you back. Love your weather, we are buried in snow and cold weather. This is my wife and my first winter back to north west PA in 48 years ( in north east Texas last). We are caring for our only surviving parent (Mother-in-law). How long does it take to ripen apricots and in what temperature? Maybe I can do it in a greenhouse here in North west PA.
Thanks Jerry! So do I 😂 Yeah probably just a little hard to grow stuff in snow! Thats nice, hope shes doing well! 😊 Usually it takes 2-3 months after blossom, faster to ripen when its warmer. But they do need a chilling time of cold weather in winter to set fruit (usually 800 hours or so under 7 degrees Celsius). Cheers & have a good one! 👍
Those apricots look great! really enjoyed watching this, thank you.
They tasted pretty good too 😉 Cheers mate! Hope your garden is booming!
