To celebrate the premiere of We Are Lady Parts, we're giving our fans a sneak peek into the opening scene - where Amina (Anjana Vasan) interviews a potential husband and the members of "Lady Parts" (Sarah Impey, Juliette Motamed, and Faith Omole) realize their band could benefit from a lead guitarist.
Synopsis: "We Are Lady Parts" is an anarchic and irreverent music comedy following a Muslim female punk band - called Lady Parts - who are on a mission to find a lead guitarist and maybe, just maybe, get a proper gig. The music comedy series shows the highs and lows of the band as seen through the eyes of Amina Hussein - a geeky microbiology PhD student, who is recruited to be their unlikely lead guitarist. Amina has never, ever met girls like this before, and soon gets swept up in their joyful, anarchic energy and punk spirit. Will she be the key to the band’s success? And - will she finally find a husband?

The only problem I have with this show is the representation of the Niqabi girl. Wearing a niqab is a symbol of your dedication to Islam. She shouldn’t be smoking like that while wearing one it’s just disrespectful. Others than that it seems like a great show
