That red “utility truck” is magic. You and your younger friend, (Benny or Vinnie), scuze me, work well together. Was great 👍🏻 The burial scene was extraordinary 😘 “Stuart little little”, I think he said. Unique rear end on the Cameo. Remember seeing them on the road in the early 60’s. Homie discount is for sure. Thanks for a great channel to watch and listen.
What a cool cool find! Dam bro you find the coolest rides! Hope you do build it! Lower it with really cool tires, and rims! A big block with a 700R4! What ever you do, I know it will be WICKED!
You guys are gonna have a hard time finding those tail lights , unless they were in the truck somewhere good luck with it that’s an amazing find . very rare !!
Bad ass truck that thing needs a LS and power steering with A/C but the main thing is that you have it and it's going to live on love your videos man keep on wrenching
Cool old truck Deserves a paint job Don’t leave it like it was at a seagull convention. I see you accumulate a lot of vehicles this summer. Got any in work or completed ?
The plastic forks were made in Wilton Maine, huh? Cool, I happen to be a Mainer. I really got a charge out of that. The Chevy trucks from this vintage are truly great looking. Cool video.
Just wanted to let you know that there's a swap meet coming up March 11th and 12th in Gresham ore, at the old k mart parking lot,, hope to see you there
Nice Cameo and rare as heck, I believe there were less than 6000 produced in 1955. The uncut dash is a bonus as many were hacked up to install modern radios. Last time I saw cameo tall lights on eBay they were like $900 ea, Yikes! Does it have the spare tire tub and brackets? Looking forward to seeing this project progress!
@@DezzysSpeedShop Cameos we’re pretty rare trucks when new and now there are way less remaining. If the original straight 6 is too boring if it was mine, I would put in a mild small block and keep the original 6 so it can be sold with the truck later so the next owner can choose between mild rod or stock. Cameos had fiberglass box sides and used 54 BelAir tail lights.
That looks like it would be a fairly easy build with how little rust there is. You wouldn’t even need to repair the floors. Just throw a new drivetrain and some updated suspension and brakes and your good.
When I was a kid my grandpa had a truck just like that it was called an Apache Chevy Apache that's just for my memories how much for that truck? With no engine in it or transmission or no bed
Well your truck your call but i would say to pick your top 5 best cars and sell everything else to fund those 5. Then when you find one you like better than your top 5 you sell that one. Otherwise your collection and space requirements will just continue to grow my friend. Tough choices man.
those were the cadlac of trucks cool paint lot's of crome sweet interior, just ask the nice guy from classic truck rescue collected 53 -59 GMC and Chevy trucks
Dezzey how much for that truck? That would be awesome to get that I have a 14 foot 1974 Taurus trailer that is mint inside it's like a time capsule and I want to pull it with that truck long time no hear Brother where is little man at he's the star of the show
Try something original leave it stock. I have one just getting done fixing the 70 custom cobble i replaced half the firewall and put the right dash back in it
i hope you appreciate what you have there in that cameo, those trucks arent easy to find.its a real gem
Get scrubbing, get sandblaster. That truck is worth every penny and work
Sweet truck. I love it! But how could you not even think about the 61 Impala right there behind it!!! Man , if I could find one like that... OMG!!!

Haha yea Benny is quite the character 😂
This isn’t scripted either 😂 We’re really this dumb lol
@@DezzysSpeedShop
Thanks for helping me get it right. 👍🏻
@@DezzysSpeedShop 😂😂😂😂
I think more real than dumb.
I just know that I like it.
Yes, I concur indubitably.
😂😂😂
It's hard to make money when you fall in love with it! 😉 I think since it a Cameo still in pretty good shape it should be a keeper.
Poor little RATS! 😢 That was cool 😎 really glad I joined bro!
Me too 🙏🏾 Thanks for watching
Awesome that thing is in great shape

It's good to see young people getting really involved in the automotive hobby. I like that yard truck though the custom seat lol
Nice cameo, but I'd like to see the 61 chevy bubble top running .
You haven’t seen that video yet?
You guys are gonna have a hard time finding those tail lights , unless they were in the truck somewhere good luck with it that’s an amazing find . very rare !!
Still, that's a beautiful truck, that chevy emblem on the tailgate, is worth all that happens here forward
If I lived closer I'd be applying for a job. Just found your channel, digging it!
I like that 70 super Bee 😍😍😍
Great nature video. Wildlife. 🇬🇧
Sweet truck !!!! 🔧🔩💀👀💀🔩🔧
damn that is sweet.

@@kesterhively8773 thanks man! I’m working on the Chevelle and Impala but I’ve picked up some parts for this and I’ll post an update soon.
Cool old truck

Don’t leave it like it was at a seagull convention.
I see you accumulate a lot of vehicles this summer.
Got any in work or completed ?
Look around. You’ll see what I’ve been working on
That plastic school chair in the pick/ yard truck is funny.
I have the original seats for the Viper truck but they are in the shop so that they don’t get wet 😁
@@DezzysSpeedShop Good idea because it rains way too much out there in Wa!
Solid af with the window blowed out, wtf she wants to live👍

Thanks! I can send em to you if you’d like 😜
@@DezzysSpeedShop Ha haa! Thanks, but I've got enough old junk laying around.
I love you guys and I have only been watching 3 minutes👍
That is one cool, Ole 55 Camino truck, do as you say, get a engine, in it, and wheels and tires, and cruise it, 😊
I can’t wait
I prefer original over patina, but it's a personal choice. Nice truck though
Just wanted to let you know that there's a swap meet coming up March 11th and 12th in Gresham ore, at the old k mart parking lot,, hope to see you there
What kind?
Any specific brands or?
Holy crap the steel in that truck came straight from a mine lol

Thanks. Yea the tub is in great shape. I’ve been collecting parts for it. I’ll update soon.
..yes, that uncut dash is yet another reason I would go stock...leave LS swaps for less rare items...
2nd view! Crank er up!
You’re clutch 👍🏾🤣
Nice, oh hell yeah lol
This is a cool truck. Please do not lower it!
Return it to stock please.
The stock 6 cylinder would be boring and cost more to hop up than a stock ls or big block

That’s exactly what I’m going to do. Ls and bags!
Put a 6 speed in it with an LS engine disc brakes original paint color and interior nice!
Bro you have to keep her it's a beautiful truck.
Ugh 😩 lol

Please do not go crazy with the engine. A small block would be perfect with around 400 hp with a turbo 400
i love this channel
Thanks for following along! We’re just getting started
You should keep it very nice truck nice body and everything you won't never find another one like that
I know man 😭😭😭 I have something bigger in mind but I do like it
Keep it!
Dig it!
New shop Truck
Nice find man!
Were all Cameos big back window? Or could you get a small, just curious!
I felt like I could smell the truck through the video lol
Thanks for watching. They were all big back windows
You do need to add a/c to it though.
those were the cadlac of trucks cool paint lot's of crome sweet interior, just ask the nice guy from classic truck rescue collected 53 -59 GMC and Chevy trucks
What a drag the back window was broken. Is that big window hard to find?
No, they make all of the windows new and cheap
There's alot of nickel in that steel no doubt 👍
That back window is the most expensive one. Wouldn't even bother.
It’s $250 brand new 🤷🏾♂️
Sell that sucker...You've got enough projects to throw money at... The CAMEO is just money in the bank! I love the "yard truck"...It's perfect!
Everybody needs a Viper truck to pull stuff around with 😂
That nickel could fund your build..get it checked out.
Viper truck for a yard truck. Parts on that thing are worth big $.
I need a drivers door . Do you know where I can find one?
I want the 61 bubble top

I’m not selling the truck just yet and he makes his return in the video later today 😎
Are we looking at a cameo or just a fleetside
Fiberglass bed is a dead giveaway
Cameo carrier
If I had the money I would buy it from you as it sits
What do you want for it bro?
How much you asking for the truck ?
Decided to keep it
The rats lived and died the truck life! OLO
Lived their best lives 😂
Oh damn the back windshield was sad ugh😐
Looks like that truck came out of El Paso Texas
Texas somewhere
It would look amazing bagged on 20 inch Detroit steel wheels!! :V
Try something original leave it stock.
I have one just getting done fixing the 70 custom cobble i replaced half the firewall and put the right dash back in it
I’m lucky this one is bone solid. I’m gonna drive it like this but with an LS. If it had its straight 8 still I would’ve left it
..an LS swap?...brrr..that's a rare, valuable truck...much better to go stock...but what do I know... :(
It has no drive train though 🤷🏾♂️ It could all be reversed if I want. I’m not cutting anything.
@@DezzysSpeedShop ..not cutting anything..that's good to know :)
Put that body on the red thing truck. Lol
On my Viper truck lol?
Put a supercharged 427 in it lol
How much?
Once I get it ls swapped I’ll put it up for sale
