Just wanted to tell you that for your ‘Clair de Lune’ video, I probably contributed 10K on it over the past 4 years. I used to listen to it on repeat, and only your version specifically. Now, I don’t play music, and do NOT know how to play any instrument, but if I could attempt to explain why I loved it so much: It has an honest and down-to-earth quality about it, not opulent nor flowery for attention sake, but you subtly added in your own voice that brings in a modern aspect that still feels ‘classical’ from a younger generation’s POV. The best part is that your creative twist comes unexpectedly in places and the transition from the original piece to your input is so smooth, at least for me, I can feel your voice and your reverence for the piece interweaved so tightly throughout. This wont make sense I think, but it’s my best attempt on explaining what I feel you’ve captured. I feel that in all of your work, and I hope that you will share more of your talent with us.
Somehow, despite always appreciating the genre, I've never enjoyed classical music quite as much as this. Sophisticated and masterful playing that truly puts a listener within the beauty of the music. Bravo.
Utterly superb! I love the arrangement and the playing is elegant and unique. (This must be SO hard to play and manage the parts. Not made for guitar considerations!). So charming and satisfying to hear it on a Telecaster. Nice round tones from the neck position. The Tele pulls off bright AND thick. Can't wait to see your other videos now!
@@loserdogygo Yes it is. You can play too hard and get the wrong note. Also guitars have to have intonation set or you get the wrong notes no matter what.
@@garrettwilson9664 the comment i was replying to said that "your technique has to be insane to get such perfect intonation" which is ibjectively false. pressing down to hard enough to change the pitch requires basically strangling the neck and havibgyour guitar setup properly isn't exacty technique is it? yeah you can make a note sharo by pressing down too hard but if you have olayed for more then like a month that's not really a real concern. wierd hill to die on.
I'm so glad RUclips finally recommended me something of yours. I watched this video and then binged all of your older transcriptions. Please please please don't stop making music! (and also, it would be really really cool if these were on Spotify) As both a guitarist and a general music enjoyer, your videos are legitimately inspiring. I would love to hear you perform something higher energy too. I'm thinking along the lines of Chopin's Fantaisie-Impromptu or Beethoven's Appassionata 3rd movement. Or if not, then maybe Mozart's Lacrimosa or possibly something jazzy like Moondog's Bird's Lament? Whatever you play next, it'll be incredible
Really enjoyed the personal touches you added towards the end. Overall you beautifully balance paying homage to a truly pianistic piece with also incorporating many elements that are distinctly guitaristic (if that makes sense!) and that tone is sublime
Beautiful playing and interpretation. The Tele-Style tone is refreshing... raw intonation; imperfect yet perfect, because that is what electric guitars sound like; REAL. Not pitch-corrected. (I'm hope you know what I mean). Thank you! I look forward to hearing more.
Awesome interpretation. The most tense 4 minutes of the day. I can feel those fingers trembling about each next position. Incredible job man, congrats.

A blackguard tele with a Charlie Christian neck pickup into a Vox. This setup sounds phenomenal! The playing is just incredible.
Telecaster (I mean, Nash, but you know) + Vox = aural perfection
midwest emo as hell i love it
Agreed. Great work. ❤ wanna play that guitar on some fusion tunes.
Thank you, Ted Greene! The original CC Tele finger-style master.
What kind of Vox amp could you guys recommend for a first buyer? (Max 200€)
This twangy telecaster has the DNA that harps are made of. The performance is Brilliant . Thank you Sir for this bright performance.
is it a fender? can't read the label
@@trainman999yeah. either a genuine fender or squire, but most likely a fender
Some of the reaching for cords are absolutely insane.

I aspire to play as cleanly and beautifully as this one day.
Then it will happen.
@@invisibull8413 thank you. I will work at it
Every bar will be hard. Good luck👍

Worth taking a few lessons on classical - it will get you there quicker than you think
One forgets how beautiful an electric guitar can sound. This lovely recording of Chopin by Guy Levinberg is a sweet reminder. Bravo! Guy Levinberg
I mean really beautiful. I love your playing Guy.
Frank Zappa nailing some Chopin 😁
I swear i thought he was frank zappa 😅
This is the best guitar rendition of anything I saw on utube since funtwo playing canon

Impeccable playing, tone for days, and this cinematography. This fires on all cylinders
Nice job, Joe Duplantier!

Looks like young Frank Zappa👍.
Haha, love Gojira
Lmao!
I was def thinking the same 😂😂😂
I just found your channel last night, and your videos have been on repeat since. What magic is this? I never want to stop listening. ❤

That is seriously impressive man. I'm a guitar player myself and big Chopin fan. Mind blowing !
theres something about softly amplified electric guitars that's just so emotional to me, and this song enhances that tenfold!! Great work!
Jesus fucking Christ this is the best interpretation of this piece to ever exist.
This is so beautiful! I hope to play with the same elegance!
Bravo! Great work. I enjoyed it a lot.
Amazing sound!!!
love the sound of that Charlie Christian pickup!
This is beautiful and impressive.
Geez. Your technique has to be insane to play this with such perfect intonation. This is amazing
i mean its a guitar so intonation isnt really a thing

@loserdogygo eh not really. Been playing 20 years. Still happens sometimes. Just depends
Great performance. Greetings from Poland 😊😊 I bet that if Chopin lived today, he would also play the telecaster. ❤❤
This CC pickup is so well articulated and the way you play full of nuances. Pure joy!
Whoa!! The playing, the tone, the arrangement and the camera work are all great! The cat cameos were a nice bonus :)
Perfeito ! Perfeito !
Yeah this is wild. Another level.
