Cardiff Whitewater in an inflatable kayak Sea Eagle Explorer

Trying out the Sea Eagle 380x Explorer at Cardiff Whitewater Centre. This is a great ''all round'' inflatable kayak, capable of up to Grade 4 Whitewater.

I have paddled quite a lot on lakes in inflatable kayaks but just picked up Stearns Pivot whitewater kayak to try whitewater river kayaking.
The Pivot is much more manoeuvrable on the flat lacking skegs and hence a bit harder to paddle straight.
This gives me confidence to try some basic grade whitewater.

Great! Well worth some basic training if you’ve not already done it. British canoeing explore awards and moving water award well worth it. Have fun.
