As a Brit living in North America I usually find your videos fun but I'd respectfully add my voice to the calls to stop the 'slaps' as they're kind of annoying and disruptive to what is otherwise enjoyable content. Having said that, afternoon tea is an special treat to be savoured and personally I always put the jam on first before the cream. :)
Forgive me, but I don’t even understand why this really pointless and both annoying and irritating nonsense is being done - what IS the point of it??? 😵💫🤯😩😡
"Clotted" is linked to the meaning used for arteries, but only that it means "Thick" like a churned butter, but its cream. It is feckin' delicious, but may also clog your arteries 😂 Worth it though 🤷♂
The name 'Afternoon Tea' is the name of the meal, not just a reference to the drink. In some parts of the country everyone calls their main evening meal 'Tea' whether or not it is accompanied by a cup of tea. If you're going to get rowdy on one glass of Champagne, then you must be a real lightweight! The 'slap' routine is rapidly getting REALLY irritating, by the way!
Since it showed a black cab at The Savoy entrance, from Wikipedia; > London taxis must have a turning circle not greater than 8.535 m (28 ft). One reason for this is the configuration of the famed Savoy Hotel: the hotel entrance's small roundabout meant that vehicles needed the small turning circle in order to navigate it.
Made by a German production company. So I guess it was actually aimed at our continental friends. US producers would have converted to Dollars. If you are a tourist looking to come to London you will want to know how much it's going to cost in your local currency.
Afternoon tea does not mean tea as in a cup of tea. Afternoon tea is the name of a light meal at 4pm approx. hence the Champers. As for when it stops : sometimes it is followed by a tea dance . . . so take yer dancing shoes lolll
In Australia, we have afternoon tea sometimes - mostly at home - but when we go out to a hotel for afternoon tea with champagne and the tiered serving platters , we call it 'high tea'.
You do realise that JJ doesn't read the comments anymore don't you. He experienced some negative feedback and trolling in the comments and simply stopped reading them ... pretty sad if you ask me as he's missing out on so much viewer interaction.
Very American take on what is a very simple form of refreshment. 'Finger sandwiches' look very affected - the usual thing if you want to look nice is to cut sandwiches into triangles. Adding champagne is a very recent thing and smacks of the "nouveax riches" or the "WAGs" (look them up). You'd be better off going to an old-fashioned tea-shop or café if you can find one.
Agreed … this is obviously a marketing video to fool non-Brits and pretentious folk into splurging huge sums on inauthentic teatime treats at the outrageously overpriced Savoy … tea and a scone or a digestive at a local caff for under a fiver is more like it
Oh no!!! 😢This is the first slap video I've seen. I'm distraught!! If it's not broken don't fix it. You had great content, just as you. Please act normally. I love afternoon tea, but all this slapping crap, and you've changed your voice a bit and talking like a robot!

That is not authentic. Tea and champagne do not go together and curry sandwiches do not belong with tea. The tea has no milk in it and she is stirring it wrong. Definitely not worth paying for. A great aunt of mine would call that tea "crickets' piss" because it's too weak.
If really you must do it, could you please limit the 'slap'/'reverse slap' thing to a couple of times per video? It doesn't enhance your content at all. Actually, it's pretty annoying. Sorry!
