Maybe it is uncomfortable-ish, but the C-130 Hercules is my favorite ever aircraft--even that I've ever flown in. It was the one aircraft that I had a big model of as a kid, long before I ever even considered joining. Its status was boosted when it arrived to carry us out of Iraq in 2003. I will always love that aircraft! There will never be another airframe as wonderful as the Hercules. Honored that Henry flew in one too. Overall though, he's not wrong. If you didn't LOVE it even before you ever flew in it, yeah it would be pretty...jarring. :)
Thank you for your service to us Henry. Wish you'd have come to Iraq, though it was pretty rough back when I was there. Mock or disbelieve it if you like, but yes, it would have been an honor to shake your hand. So many of would be honored to ever meet you in our lifetime. You had the balls to show up in a war zone. It's a pretty exclusive club of civilians who CHOSE to. No surprise from what we all know of you. Thank you for showing up for my Brothers and Sisters. I didn't and don't agree with the wars over there either. I know you won't ever read this, but thank you anyway Henry.

I'm always so grateful for Henry's next violently angry self therapy session. He has a way of making the anxiety and fury I feel sound hilarious. It's as if my therapist is a professional comedian, reading back to me all my thoughts. I'm healed, instead of finishing my manifesto.

yeah, I had this in my likes years back. Ya know what really sucks??? Henrys first spoken word albums are long gone, they used to be on youtube, only place you can really find them.

Saw Adrien Belew play a few years ago at Darryl Hall’s dinner club a few years ago and he was GREAT. Hadn’t seen shredding like that since seeing Eddie Van Halen live in 1986.

My first job in college (about the time this was shot) was as a telemarketer hawking magazine subscriptions (genuinely sorry if I called your house). In three months (I was an old timer at that point) I had at least twenty conversations like Henry Rollins describes. Not gonna lie; they were far better than the people who would just start cussing at me (and didn't realize that I could just hang up), and if you hung on through the (I really hope fake) orgasm, they'd buy something.
