I can pair with the AirPods Pro but there is no sound. The regular AirPods (non-noise cancelling) - no problems. There is definite problem with noise cancelling function AirPods Pro.
I don't know why, it's just a bluetooth connection. I've paired my pro's to it with no issues... sorry you are having trouble. Not sure what it could be
I just bought the airfly as my other transmitter wouldn’t work with the iPod pro 2nd generation😢. I can confirm that upon following the instructions it DOES work….yeah….😅. Very important though to note, you really do need to turn off your other blue tooth device when doing the set up. You can turn it back on after you’re set up….it does note this on the instructions but sometimes overlooked.

Nope, it's very smart. As soon as you turn on the AirFly it will connect to your head phones previously paired to it. It's very smooth and simple.

Great question! I went with black on mine thinking I love all my stuff to be black, but found it's easy to miss it, forget it, lose it... the white one stands out more with hers. So I will go white when I get another one but both work the same and great so you can't go wrong either way. Hope this helps.
Is there a device that will transmit AAC codec?
i feel like on most of these transmitters theres a gate feature usually built into them, making the sound cut out whenever its below a certain volume threshold. Does that happen with these?

Yes, the Se is the lower end, entry model for TwelveSouth AirFly. It can only connect to 1 headphone, smaller batter, no aux in adapter. It still works but I recommend the Pro because it's not much more and you'll get the one that works the best. amzn.to/3Rv1jbv

can you explain why this isn’t a good option for a TV? my tv has a jack that i can plug headphones into, so wouldn’t this work to connect my airpods to?
Because its not really made for that. It is made more for travel, it doesn't have the ability to give you the high-quality sound you would expect watching a movie nor the distance of signal in your living room on a big TV. There are better products that do that. That is why I don't recommend this for gaming and TV. If you're on a plane, even in your car, not such a big deal, right? but when you sit down to watch a movie or TV you want good quality sound.

I purchased this product. It will not stay syncd with my Bose Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Headphones. I have tried to repair it and still same issue. It syncs and then 10seconds later-it disconnects. Help??
I've used this for over 2 years now with my Bose Noise Canceling Headphones. I would say exchange it for another one. Sounds like it's just a bad one. Are you using the Bose app? You have to use the Bose Connect app 😉 Bose is special this way but actually is nice once you get used to it. Hope this helps.

Deluxe includes the international airline adapter I talk about in the video and a case for both. The airfly is still just the pro version
But how do I use it as a receiver? If I want it to receive the Bluetooth signals & transmit it to my speaker, where do I connect my speaker’s 3.5mm jack in this? I did not see any female 3.5mm jack on this device..
It's not designed for this. You can plug it into a car and turn on the receiver mode and it will reverse the signal in to the car vs sending the audio from the car to the headphones. Reminder this was mainly designed for travel and planes ;)

I do not know the answer to that as I've only ever used the PRO version which I recommend because it has all the features for a very small price increase.
Can this be used with usb c adapter to share movies with a friend on newer iPads ? I know they have another model with usb c, but that wouldn’t work in the car and so on
I'm not sure I understand the question. Are you asking if you can watch a movie on your iPad and share it with a friend? If yes, the iPad already does this, you can connect two headphones to it, two air pods, etc... You could try this but I do not think it would work.
I haven't seen this addressed anywhere, but I assume this will work with my Kirkland Hearing Aids, which connect to my iphone via bluetooth? I liken these hearing aids to wireless headphones, but I'm not technologically savvy, so I could be wrong. I'm going on my first long haul flight and would love to be connected to the plane's entertainment system. What are your thoughts?
I've heard that people have done this but especially on a long haul flight I would try to take some noise canceling headphones. You can turn them up so you can hear and you can connect them to the Bluetooth through AirFly Pro, but any Bluetooth device that’s audio such as headphones or even the earpiece should connect you just might need to connect it before you leave and make sure it works and not the day before or plenty of time before your flight so you can make other arrangements if it does not work

I have these same earbuds and have used them with AirFly Pro and experienced zero issues. It's something I travel with every flight just in case. Hope this helps

It is not designed for this. It only transmits audio from a source into a wireless bluetooth signal going one way. It's designed to listen to music or movies on a plane but has been used in cars for music. It'll receive to the car or send but not both at the same time. Hi I have one question. Currently my iPod pro is connect to my iPhone. When i am flying I plug in the Airfly pro thru the plane entertainment system. Will it exit my iPod and connect to the plane entertainment automatically?

It does for me, it really is pretty seamless. It detects the audio source and then connects to your headphones. If you are playing a movie, music, podcast, etc... out of your iPad, iPod or iPhone then your Apple Air Pods will favor those devices, but as long as nothing is playing then it'll pickup the audio source which would be the AirFly Pro. I am posting a video tomorrow for ANA The Room and you'll see I use my phone, iPad and the in flight entertainment with AirFly Pro and it all is pretty seamless. Hope this helps.

Plus the light never turn solid white. This is so frustrating as I figure I am doing something stupid.
It sounds like it's not charged, like it's shutting off. Apple Stores carry these if you need another one in a pinch and some Best Buys do. We have two that we've used for a while and they work great. It's either not charged or just a lemon. If it's saying connected, then it's successfully connecting. Mine say the same thing "AirFly Pro Connected" that's a good sign. Try charging it overnight.

Ok, so I have a couple questions I’m hoping you can help with.
1. How do you know that someone else isn’t connecting to your air fly?
2. My kids headphones connect to a Yoto player (audio player) and because I also connected it to my iPhone it would constantly connect to the phone and wouldn’t connect to the Yoto. How would I stop this happening with the air fly?
1. AirFly Pro is just like any other Bluetooth device. You can only connect to it if you control both ends. You have to put AirFly Pro into pairing mode too connect to your device which I recommend doing at home.
2. This is designed to connect to your headphones. If they are connected and ON then it'll pair. You can always turn off the AirFly Pro or headphones to disconnect. If you have two headphones paired but only want to use one. Turn ON and connect the ones you want to use with AirFly Pro and connect. Once it's connected, then turn ON your other headphones and and connect it to whatever else you want to connect to such as your phone. They should not bounce around.
I got for the car, it was a waste of money for a car. There’s a constant buzzing and volume sucks.
Sounds like it might be a bad connection in the car. Did something else work better for you? Volume is controlled by your phone and car
