Wonderful video! I love magical girls and redesigns so it was perfect 😭. But I just wanted to warm that Gin's name is written as "ジン", therefore, "Jin". Gin would be "ギン". I don't know if it was on purpose or not, but all the other characters have their names in Hiragana, while Gin has hers in Katakana (which is associated with foreign words). Just thought it was important to point out since you asked... But otherwise, lovely video, I'm definitely gonna binge a bunch more now!!

To be honest Gin's was the one that confused me the most. Her name is supposed to translate into "gold" or "golden" but I think it was lost in translation when I first named a few years back. I should probably correct this or at least choose one or the other. Thanks for the help!!
I really enjoy the way you do lineart! I might have to see if I can try it out like that too sometime when I can be bothered to get my tablet out again. I really really love your dress designs!! I'm personally bad at designing feminine clothes so I admire your confidence with the ruffles, bows, etc.

i love the redesigns! however i think their original hair colors made them all look very different from each other, whereas two pairs of your characters now have the same/very similar hair colors. just something to consider if you ever want to make a comic with them! the easier it is to tell characters apart for readers/viewers, the easier it is to understand what's happening

I guess I should change Himari's hair color back to purple then. Ayumi and Himari are twins, but I still don't want the audience to mistake them with one another.

@@momopurin7924you can always have it that they dyed their hair, which would explain the twins having different hair colors
edit: but also, give your audience some credit. there are other animated shows with twins that are easy to tell apart, and when they arent, it’s intentional. these twins have differences in how they conduct themselves, and their hairstyles are different. if you show them together at the start, people will understand that theyre twins and not think that it’s the same girl who keeps randomly switching up her style
@@momopurin7924 I think it's okay for the twins to have the same hair colour, since they're twins! But Akko and Gin should definitely have different hair colours I think, there's no particular reason for them to both be blonde :]

Do you want me to recommend an anime for you to watch a magical girl anime the one that I watched and I felt really happy about it it’s called soushin shoujo matoi and it’s about a girl who wants to live ordinary life with her father after one her mother disappeared 10 years ago through those 10 years, she lived with her best friend and she decided to stay with her father for a few months, but suddenly something bad happens at the shrine and something wonderful happens to matoi it’s a really good anime and I am to you and everyone else here give it a good watch and I don’t know if this is a weird request, but I wouldn’t mind if you draw matoi

I finally got to see my cinnamon roll baby Gin 🥹 this video kinda called me out with the characters personalities as they matched mine the new designs are awesome even tho I'm still kinda salty about Ayumi's hair color and I hate to agmit it but I like the new hair color and let me guess the reason Gin's weapon is a hammer because of Thor bc her original design was inspired by Thor/vikings
Edit: Ayumi's blue hair actually reminded me of Marinette and again I felt called out when you talked about Gin and Ayumi why did you have to do that to me 😢😂

but ayumi does not have a two piece vest like, the petal looking piece, she is the only one with a full dress.

I think there was a version where she had a vest but I ended up liking the variation of the original dress rather than a completely new one. I tried to keep the petal shape on the seems on the top to make up for it tho

Additionally, Gin's name is spelled in katakana (ジン) instead of hiragana (じん (directly from the katakana) or ぎん (the word for a metal, it's actually silver!)). Everyone else's names are spelled with hiragana, so if Gin's name isn't supposed to be drawing any extra attention for some reason or another, it should be written in hiragana too.
Try a rpg theme / fantasy theme for a magical girl group
