Hello, I would like to join the CAF. I would like to be a transport driver, should I get my drivers license before I join or will they provide me a drivers education class? I heard they pay for training like if you want to be a pilot, technician or Doctor, is that true? Does the the same apply to those who want to be a military transport driver? Sorry if this is a dumb question.
For the Mobile Support Equipment Operator career, you are not required to possess a driving license, you will receive all the necessary training within the Canadian Armed Forces, however it would be an asset to already have a civilian driver's license.
