Sandi I sketched the tree in my back yard. You are the reason I was even able to try. I just started this art adventure 2 months ago and I love it. You inspire me so much. Its so cool to be a kid again and just play. Thank you so much. I don't have Instagram so I love the extra clips. I'm going to try to fill one with random acrylic paint and do some scenery, still life and faces. Not detailed but freely, just like you... LOL. I tend to be ridgid and by the book. I love the instagram stories because not all people are on all the platforms. Im on instagram more but love watching it all! Ive saved my cardboard and the plastics bags for the brushes and now I know why! will try to make a holder! Thanks for the DYI. The painting is beautiful as always. so, that amazing complex painting that was shown on instagram, why does it look to be not a hot mess, but a pleasant painting of a still life? Thanks for all the work you do, you are an absolute delight and I want you to keep on, keeping on being healthy. just saying, I think you do a lot and I want you to slow down and just put out regular stuff. You make your post look very polished and complex and ...I just want you to keep being you...with no pressure to perform. You inspire me.

Yes! Include the Instagram Stories. I do watch them on Instagram but on the go and on the phone isn't the same as watching on the large screen tv later on RUclips.
Also, I have probably a dozen of those Cascade bins I use for storage along with also using those Oui yogurt jars for my watercolors! Too funny, we artists must keep an eye out for useful containers. I have a whole shelf of jars, makeup containers, boxes, etc. that I put aside because they look like they'll be handy someday. 😆
I drive Grady crazy with all the things I keep for containers 😂😂😂

2 - Love the car studio! That's how my car looks most of the time. I have tons of gismos in the car for permanently keeping art supplies there. Plus cushion to sit on and blanket for keeping warn for painting on cold or rainy days. Two organized areas - front / drivers seat and back - painting either from inside or setting up under the open back door - love it love it love it so much !
3.- Oh no the plate! Your favorite plate is painted away! > Oh its back! > Oh lol it's still not finished but I do see that the plate survived 😂😂😂

I DO like the instagram inserts! So far I'm a hold out on instagram...so many options for social media and I try to minimize as much as possible. I always enjoy watching you and your process so much! As you were painting over some things in this video I kept thinking "Sandi is so brave...I need to be brave and be willing to remove things if I'm not sure if they are working".. 30:20 I heard recently that some famous writer used to leave his work for the day by ending mid sentence. So he would know where to start when he picked up the next day. I started doing this with my painting & it helps me 'just get started' instead of falling into a thought loop that often ended with not painting at all. Thanks for sharing your process! I will try it too ❤

Greetings! Personally I like the Instagram stories put in. I love sitting down with lunch and finding out all the artsy stuff you have been up to in your weekly You Tube video. It feels like a visit with a friend! I try to spend my free time creating and not on Instagram, so this way I don't feel like I'm missing out on all the fun Sandi stuff!

📦📦📦You just helped me feel totally normal for hoarding “good” cardboard and the packing paper that’s perfectly wrinkled. I love to make prototypes and my own rigs. Seriously, I get really excited when a package arrive and it’s the GOOD cardboard! I can build so many things with it, I have to save it. It is such a pleasure to as another woman similar to myself (although further down the road) expressing her humanity so freely. It’s helped me embrace even more of myself that doesn’t fit the “perfect” way things “should be” I hope you can embrace for yourself just how much that’s missing in our world. Real artistic women being themselves unapologetically. And your freakin’ talented to boot. Gotta go! My studio is calling. 👀😻yep - I made on just for me. Thank you!!! 🎨🖌🖼👩🎨

you will get it to where you want. I loved it in the abstract stage when it was dominant pink and just casual ghost sketching of all the other elements that you wanted to paint. It reminded me of the abstracting you get in your landscapes. I even liked it when it was just pink and the plate. :)
