      Khalid AlShehry Just the fact that he compares Saudi Arabia to ISIS is a big bash to the face, which by the way, everyone know they have the same ideology. He talks about the death penalty by beheading, he says it's barbaric and it's illegal to talk about a change of government. That's just a few examples. Saudi Arabia is a shithole.

    • @gundisalvus8529
      @gundisalvus8529 8 лет назад +1

      ***** "nationalistic and loyal to the Government" Of course they are, if they say anything wrong about the government they get their heads cut off. Listen, here in the developed world we have something called free speech and freedom of press. I'm sad that you can't experience that, it's wonderful. Even though it's pretty biased, if you search enough you can get the truth about the world and Saudi Arabia is an horrible place to live. I've seen the slums. The sewers flowing in the middle of the "streets". Damn. And that was just a little bit that they managed to get on camera. That's what you call better quality of living than EU? Come on, stop lying to yourself. Pray that the world keeps buying your oil because if they stop... You will start eating each other to survive in that desert.

    • @gundisalvus8529
      @gundisalvus8529 8 лет назад +1

      ***** XD Okay, Okay. Look I've never been to Saudi Arabia so I can't say for sure what it is or not. One thing I'd like to ask you though, why women can't drive or can't drive alone? The fundamentalism is real in your country and it's sad because it's true that some places I've seen are pretty. Also you can't blame me, blame Russia (mostly Russia but not only) for painting your country as the exporter of Wahhabi Islam and Salafism which is the roots of Daesh. And I'm from a country who is exporting Light Armored Vehicles to your country and maybe more which they hide I don't know...

    First of all, I am from Saudi Arabia, and I can assure you that the majority of the citizens of Saudi Arabia are relatively happy. We maybe don't have a voting system on who is going to be king, but we are happy. Our education is free, from the first grade to college education (on top of that gov gives money to college students), also free health care...etc of the services that Saudi Arabia gives its citizens. Now, that being said, Saudi Arabia also have internal problems. But these problems are all related to things like; small percentage of unemployment, economic inflation, housing, and the lack of sustainability regulations... etc. these problems exist every where. We don't have a problem with freedom of speech as Mehdi said, anyone can talk anywhere he wants. what is not permitted is the violent protesting and that is it.
    Second, Mehdi Hassan, although I like him, was biased against Saudi Arabia in this interview, and he presented Saudi Arabia as violent and bloody as ISIL with his questions. Maybe he did so because he doesn't know much about Saudi Arabia, and maybe all he knows is what the western media portrait in its media about Arabs and Saudi Arabia.
    Finally, Saudi Arabia works in Yemen hand by hand with the Yemeni people. We help them as brothers and neighbors. We want their stabilization as much as they do. If the government of Saudi Arabia have the intention of harming the Yemeni people, we Saudi Arabia's people wouldn't support it and we will go against it.

    As a Saudi, I know you guys (westerners) want us to have a democracy. While that sounds nice, its also worth noting that what the man said was correct. There are a lot of people that are loyal to the king. For example, the majority of Saudis are employed by the government, how do expect them to overthrow it? I want to be realistic, we can't shoot for democracy but should ask for reform - which to be fair is happening as I speak and I am happy to see change. And please, don't speak about Saudi Arabia unless you know something about the country and BEEN THERE. Otherwise, you have no real grounds for your argument. Peace

      +Minhaaj Rehman Really? so killing atheists is justified?!

    • @minhaaj
      @minhaaj 8 лет назад

      +Atheist Reactionary Don't get into theological minutia. Its better to get into things you can understand or atleast have the will to do so. Not all atheists get killed. Its for people who convert from Islam to any other belief and that too when they incite violence against Islam. An example would be Ayan Hirsi and Salman Rushdie. No one is enamored with killing in Islam. Punishments are brought in as corrective actions not daily life paraphernalia. Don't over play it. We had people all along in Islamic history like Ibn Warraq who wrote against Islam but nothing stood against Islamic Intellectual arguments. If you are so worried about atheistic supremacy, look at your own backyard and convince the people not to convert to fasting growing religion on earth and if you are going to use force as always, be my guest. You are on the fast track to receding back to nothing like you've always been in history.
