4 years later and still wishing this had been a feature length film.
no offense to previous commenters, but the ending sucked. Emma the character is not only super fine, she's a great lady and can do so much better. In fact, within those five years, it's not likely that she hadn't found someone way better
No doubt about that. There could be a lot of people out there who are way better for Emma. The thing is that since they were little kids, they were meant to meet and also to be together. The whole point of the story is that no matter what, they'll always come back to each other because of the red string. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on the short film, means a lot 💖

Plus what if Emma never got over her? They were both deeply in love with each other and Emma was so heartbroken when she saw what Alex had done. It takes some people YEARS to get over there ex boyfriend or girlfriend. I really loved this ending because Emma knew and felt that Alex was speaking the truth. And they both knew they missed each other so much and probably thought they wouldn’t find someone better. I think this film is adorable and goes along great with the Ancient Chinese Proverb💝
