I'm with you on this one. Cancelled Disney+ about a year ago. Ahsoka did me in. Lifeless acting. Questionable plots. Hell, they even left the "Star Wars Galaxy" in Ahsoka...and even that was lifeless and borderline boring. A whole other alien galaxy?! What fertile plot material! But Disney squandered even that. It didn't look like an alien galaxy AT ALL. It could have been so weird and exciting...but it wasn't. And choregraphed zombie stormtroopers?! REALLY?! That's something an 8-year-old would come up with. I'm not a betting man, but I would bet that this will be uninspired blah too. Like everyone else, the time period of this is fascinating. But it's Disney. They can (and will) find a way to screw up a wet dream. I'm not even sure that I still care enough to buy a bootleg DVD of this when it's all said and done.
We know it's going to flop. Why waste any time with this WOKE nonsense? A recent thing I DID like was the 2021 GHOSTBUSTERS AFTERLIFE. There were familiar elements. But a new story that involved some sadness. But the comical moments were well placed. There was no blatant WOKE agenda. The original Ghostbusters appeared and were not degraded. And there was that touching sendoff to Egon. ✝ DISNEY SW is terrible.
