Nro is just a normal saving account where u can deposit aswell as withdraw money but in NRE account only one can only withdraw or transfer funds and cannot deposit any money in that.

@@aamirafathima1871 so it's like a must way to open both NRO and NRE ryt.Its like if I don't have an account with NRE bank then I have to open NRO also ryt.suppose I have Savings account in ICICI and opening NRE in Yes bank I have to open both NRO as well as NRE since I don't have savings account with Yes bank.

Nre is to get foreign credits.nre account can get deposits only in dollars. Nro is for local transaction. Receiving rents or lic premiums..
