    Questions ⁉️
    Can you do it from a picture of someone? My Momma passed in February. I've been trying to do one of her in polymer clay but I suck so bad, working on my 26th try in the last month, ugh. I just want her to be perfect but my ability is beginner level... like preschool level lol.
    If you can, would you do my Momma?Not for free, I'll pay. Which leads me to my next question...
    How much would you charge to do one from a picture? I'm disabled and on a budget so please take it easy on me. I can make payments though and collect the product after the price plus shipping is paid to you.
    Please consider, everyone I've asked has either ignored me or talked crap, thinking I'm begging for something for nothing. I'm not, I'm just grasping for my Momma in any way I possibly can. It hurts, is all.

      My condolences to you and your family. I understand the pain of losing a loved one, and wanting a physical representation of them. I had the same experience when I lost my older brother back in 2015. I just happened to have been getting into 3D scanning at that time (the same scanning this bobble head video uses), and captured a scan of my brother just a few months before he passed. I managed to create this from it for his memorial: ruclips.net/video/roFOjRnkbos/видео.html
      Unfortunately, that required special equipment. I am not aware of any tools yet that can generate a 3D model from just a picture. I'm sure a skilled artist might be able to do so, but I don't have the skill required. I'm sorry I'm not able to help more. I hope your memories of your momma are pleasant.

      @@HoffmanEngineering very pleasant ty. I'm sorry for your loss as well. I am a portrait artist. I can draw her, just been learning to sculpt so I have not picked up my drawing supplies since before her passing. I will get back to it once it's not so painful. It was a talent she passed to me and doing it without her still brings me to tears, sculpting too, but it doesn't mess up under the snot n tears lol. but I definitely want a bobblehead so I won't give up lol it'll happen one day. Ty for the reply😁

    Can i make one within 35min of physical labor not including print time? How much physical time was needed? Time needed in software? Scanning? And touch up? Thank you for your input

    Can you print 3D models of yourself with color?

    • @HoffmanEngineering
      @HoffmanEngineering  9 лет назад +2

      Junior Lopez Those machines exist, but they are too expensive for the normal hobbyist. However, there are services out there like Shapeways which you can send you model to to have them printed in full color! This model would have cost around 80 bucks for them to print in color though, compared to my $1 worth of plastic....
