Micro (Mike Rowe) is a 😂 very funny coincidence and your power of observation was spot on there cheers 🥂 to you for making me laugh today. Thank you for that! He's a funny guy who could probably do stand up comedy if he wanted to, after watching and listening to his antics over the years what's not to like about this true American Patriot. #mikerowemicro 😮😂❤
Rachael needs to get her own show or RUclips channel because she's so funny, cute and charming. Definitely handles any situation with a sense of humor and calmly. Great video. Thanks for a very interesting and entertaining story. Looks like an awesome company with great employees.
It's the same here in Australia! EVERYTHING is being manufactured overseas and it's hurting us badly!! Even after the pandemic there are shortages of everything from building materials to medicines. If only the Governments would step up and fight for their own people. Your show is amazing. YOU are amazing Mike! I have been a fan for years and when you talk about important issues you do it with sass and humour. You're a bloody legend Mike! Peace and Love from Australia
Someone, please tell me that Rachael signed all 100 of her works. Because no matter how small, they're still individual pieces of Art! And who doesn't want the signature, of someone who knows how to safely use a razor! lol! She's very cool, imho.
I've had Mike and Freddy sitting on my breakfast counter for many years now, and Mike's always ready for a snappy comment or comeback at a moment's notice, or to randomly freak out the dog. Doing a dirty job, explaining the connection between extremely unconnected things, doing a good deed for a good doer, teaching America how things need to be done or giving a morning chuckle, Mike never fails to deliver.
I would be interested in seeing something like this revisited now. To see with the color 3dprinting technology if its possible to manufacture in USA for much less then handpainted ones
Hey Mikey! I like the idea of you being immortalized with your own "Mini- Me Bobble Head" Perhaps, next a "Mr. Potato Head" version. I can see the possibilities of impressing the next generation of children. Just sayin.. Kudos Mikey, for all that your crew do and you do for America. Cheers, Mate.
it might cost 200 bucks, but that 200 bucks stays here in our brothers and sisters pockets, muuuch more readily available to make it back to your pocket again
As much as I love that finally someone had the opportunity to tell it like it is of why we don't make here in America and why made in the USA cost so much.
It is not just the manufacturers, it is the consumer who needs to step up and pay more for stuff that is made in their own country. Vote with your wallet, it is powerful.
The price gouging of so many resources we need to survive has created a domino effect of an overpriced cost of living in the US and thats why our labor costs can't compete on the world stage
A few years back I told my wife, just before Christmas, "I bought Jim (my son) a Mike Rowe Bobblehead for Christmas." She looked at me like a puppy dog hearing a weird sound and replied "What would he do with a micro Bobblehead." Took us a bit to get on the same page.
A sad comment that we don’t have the people resources to mass produce the bobble heads, but a great insight into what is involved in the process. Kudos to this man and his company for having some of the expertise to produce at least a part of the product.
Wow! Great episode. Never knew the history, let alone the economics of Bobbleheads. Thanks Mike Btw, how can I get in on one of those Bobbleheads of you?
Too good,,too good,,I needed that ,,oh you make me laugh so good but we learn from YOUR channel too,,,i havent even see the video,,just the heading and that picture,,,i KNOW how you are and im on the ground,,,i needed that thank you,,,I hope they let the letter go thru
@beverlywilliams7278 : Excellent idea. A pushbutton on the base and Mike says, "It's a dirty job. Somebody's gotta do it." I'll go $300.00 to the Mike Rowe Foundation for one of those. I am a true believer of his message and method to educating our future work force.
5 years ago I bought a random Nikola Tesla bobble head at a thrift store. I knew I'd seen Royal Bobble somewhere before... like the sticker on the bottom of Nikola! Wow!
The painting is where the big cost is as each one is individually hand painted However for mass production of thousands surely pad printing with multiple stages to build up the required effect and finish could do if the finished product does not need to be photo-realistic. For higher quality of image maybe a custom built (3d printed mainly) 4 axis CNC base with a bubble-jet type printing head could be made relatively cheaply and would be able to get the job done in minutes. Once the first one is made then clone the machines 20 times and you would have the quality, volume and one or three operators could run them Or you could use cheap hobby robot arms to load and unload the pieces. I am sure that a bunch of young kids from a school near you who are into robotics could figure it out. Don't ask an adult to try to do it because adults do not think way out the box like the kids who have not been taught that it is "impossible" to do
_Can_ it be done with automation? Absolutely! _Will_ it be? Absolutely not. Why spend thousands on improving the process when some asian kid can do the same work for pennies. I think what's saving this company is that their product is just niche enough where they can still get customers, but not enough for a big overseas company to copy their designs and put them out of business.
Love all the info, & high quality work! BUT, we didn't get the whole picture, I assume that button makes this a "talking Micro" ! So, when & how do we find out what all is recorded?!? Thanx !
I seriously hope Mike Rowe names the bobblehead he keeps, "Micro".
I see what you did there
Micro Me?
Now he just needs a macro Mike Rowe.
Micro (Mike Rowe) is a 😂 very funny coincidence and your power of observation was spot on there cheers 🥂 to you for making me laugh today. Thank you for that!

Nice!
Mike Rowe is a National Treasure!!!
James couldn't if said it better 👍
100%
Mikerowe-economic issues. That's dad joke level 1000. Seriously impressed lol😂
Mike Rowe might be one of the only ones who will need a hard hat to make a Bobble Head. 😂😂
She set up her work space- she obviously didn't have that issue... 😂🤣
Rachael needs to get her own show or RUclips channel because she's so funny, cute and charming.
Definitely handles any situation with a sense of humor and calmly.
Great video. Thanks for a very interesting and entertaining story. Looks like an awesome company with great employees.
Maybe someone can get her a safety knife while they are at it haha

govt doesn't give a fuck about it's people, now go pay your taxes
Sold out already? Wow! Good for him.
See, that's why I Like Mike. Wants to have the bobble heads made in the states. That's says alot about his character.
Made in America baby. Quality over quantity.
I’m so disappointed I didn’t know about these when they were available! I would’ve loved to had one♥️
Mike Rowe for President!
😊
Mike, You are a National Treasure, Just Like All the Folks You Feature.
I'd be honoured to have a Mike Rowe bobble head.
Loved your work and voice overs for many years.
Keep being awesome and hello from Australia.
Mike is an American Treasure.
Someone, please tell me that Rachael signed all 100 of her works.

And who doesn't want the signature,
of someone who knows how to safely use a razor! lol!
She's very cool, imho.
I hope she did too! The artist signature on a piece work is also more valuable
Mike Rowe is an American treasure. What a charming and talented young woman.
The coolest presenter ever. Love your work Mike and cast.
You rock Mr. Rowe!

Interesting that the paint they used was from Plaid Enterprises, based in Norcoss GA and made in America in Decatur GA
11:49 - The last bit was awesome... really defined the difference America has with 'consumer-ship' vs 'craftsmanship'
I just gave my brother his own personalized bobblehead for his retirement -golfer, of course- he loved it! 😄
I would be interested in seeing something like this revisited now. To see with the color 3dprinting technology if its possible to manufacture in USA for much less then handpainted ones
Wasn't this filmed last year? So tech has not changed much since then.
I have this bobble head!
Very cool to see how it was made.
Thank you

I would totally bye a Mike row bobble head.
Love the show. Cheers.
About time you got a bobblehead.
Labor intensive stuff. Love it Mike
Thanks for uploading to RUclips, Mike!
That apron screams "Candy". LOL!
it might cost 200 bucks, but that 200 bucks stays here in our brothers and sisters pockets, muuuch more readily available to make it back to your pocket again
As much as I love that finally someone had the opportunity to tell it like it is of why we don't make here in America and why made in the USA cost so much.
I have one of Mike's bobble heads. It's sitting here with me everyday on my desk in central Queensland Australia.
Thank you.
Hahahaha I got it. Mike Rowe production……..micro production lmfao I need that on a shirt
Man.. Rachel is adorable!
It is not just the manufacturers, it is the consumer who needs to step up and pay more for stuff that is made in their own country. Vote with your wallet, it is powerful.
They should make an episode at a taxidermy shop, Funny thing is I happen to work at a place that does deer processing and taxidermy.
Mike: "Can you make me look smarter?"
Designer: "There are some limitations on what we CAN do."
We missed a big step in the process, how did the image likeness get into the computer in the first place.
7:10 Mike! You missed a great opportunity to say the Rubber has met the Rowe...
Now that is awesome, I would love to join that raffle.
Huh........ a MICRO..... Mike Rowe!! Awesome!
Eastern Berks fire rescue! Mikes representing Berks county and station 97!
The price gouging of so many resources we need to survive has created a domino effect of an overpriced cost of living in the US and thats why our labor costs can't compete on the world stage
Now you're famous!
Thanks! Makes me feel good to watch while sick, I appreciate it!
That is a quality product it's a shame we can't afford to make them here in the United States.😢
😂🤣😂
Mike Rowe👈, and 👉Micro.
That was a very interesting and eye-opening episode. Mike is the man.
Wonder why there was a bobble blurred out ~3:00 🤔
Mike-Rowe production values.
Hope these raise a lot on money, they should
A sad comment that we don’t have the people resources to mass produce the bobble heads, but a great insight into what is involved in the process. Kudos to this man and his company for having some of the expertise to produce at least a part of the product.
She was absolutely lovely, thank you for the tour. 😊
Wow! Great episode. Never knew the history, let alone the economics of Bobbleheads. Thanks Mike
Btw, how can I get in on one of those Bobbleheads of you?
I want one too!
Where can they be purchased?
Mike is *hilarious* ! 😂
I’ll never stop loving these vids Mike!
If you've ever seen those little resin-cast figurines at the Dollar Store you can tell they're all custom painted and have variations.
TIME FOR ALL USA CITIZENS TO STEP UP TO THE LINE..
TIME FOR MIKE AS MASTER AND COMANDER ..
VOTE MIKE ROWE 2024.. 🙏😫
I love what Mike is doing
MikeRowe, conomics. Awesome! Keep talking and run for office already
Good episode 👌
I'd like to have a snoop around their website.
Great as Always !!!!!!
I gave this video a thumbs up, only after Mike hit his head, the first time that is.
I would love to purchase one!!❤
they have 3D printers that will print the color on the plastic as its made which could help keep this process in the usa.
Yup just need an STL file of a head.
Too good,,too good,,I needed that ,,oh you make me laugh so good but we learn from YOUR channel too,,,i havent even see the video,,just the heading and that picture,,,i KNOW how you are and im on the ground,,,i needed that thank you,,,I hope they let the letter go thru
Mike you rock! Peace
We need more bobbleheads! I need one, my mom wants one. I'd probably buy more
Mike, you continue to amaze me. Will you run for office someday? Please?
he has such a great voice !
Please come to CDA Idaho and help us make a roller-coaster!! Rocky Mountain Construction loves you!
Totally Awesome!!
I got one of those bobbleheads for my birthday when they were available. It has a date of 2015 on it.
We especially love this video!
I honestly would buy a Mike Rowe Bobblehead for sure. But I'm sure I couldn't afford it in an auction setting. Lol
Same, I wonder if we can commission one directly from the company of his model
Me too!! I also could not afford an auction.
Labor intensive stuff. Love it Mike. I would love to purchase one!!.
Thanks for sharing Mike ❣❣❣
That was very cool, I enjoyed watching that.
thanks Mike for the informative and entertaining vid stay safe and keep the content coming
Industrial 3D printing would make it affordable here in the USA. The days of china being cheaper is long gone.
I'd love to buy one of these, when will they be available?
And it needs to have a recording of his amazing voice saying something...anything.
I would like to buy a mike bobble head for my son.
5 years ago I bought a random Nikola Tesla bobble head at a thrift store. I knew I'd seen Royal Bobble somewhere before... like the sticker on the bottom of Nikola! Wow!
He almost got me... When the driver said "it was made in 1932"... then he said "by John Bobble" 😅
i legit was halfway thru looking that up when I got it ... D'oh !
The painting is where the big cost is as each one is individually hand painted

Sounds like a fun engineering challenge to me ...
Can we have a link to the auction?
Where can we find the Mike Rowe Bobblehead?
This was awesome 💯
Love all the info, & high quality work! BUT, we didn't get the whole picture, I assume that button makes this a "talking Micro" ! So, when & how do we find out what all is recorded?!? Thanx !
i now want one of those bobble heads
This is incredible because, each one of those Bobbleheads are going to be one of a kind just by the little differences in the painting of them.
Thank you.
Mike shut down the hater comments right out the gate. Idc about where the mass is coming from. Just worried about my bobble head so hush.
First comments. Someone body’s got to do it. Love you mike BOOM
Specifically the fingers of the body...unless extra talented 🫣
Check with the master pumpkin carver 😅
3:02 Why is the one bobble head in the case blurred out?
What's in all the boxes in the warehouse that's labeled Made in china?
