This tutorial is awesome, I looked over every launchpad and this is probably the perfect middle point so I bought one. Might be better to start with a launchpad and then move on to a push if I need it. I am so happy I found a used unit on eBay and with this awesome review. 😃🌈

I have a very simple question. when ı do everything you show, it works perfectly but when ı try to listen to it or try to get it exported for the video, it only comes up with everything playing at the same time. So how can i record the complete session the way i play with the timings and everything and not get all of them layed out all together?
Hello, I have two questions: How and when did you set the length of the clips? At 01:05 why do you have to press the clip play button again? If it is a looping clip it doesn't need the play button to be pressed. Of course there is something I don't understand. Thanks.

I am not sure I understand how do you arm and start clips for recording (your hands go so fast lol). When you are in session mode, if you tap on a cell, that cell is armed automatically to start recording a clip? Or do you have to go to mixer mode, then to arm mode, arm the track first, then go back to session mode and THEN tap on the cell you want to use to record the clip? Thanks! BTW awesome background and quite nice groove
This is fantastic thanks! Can anyone point me to how to assign samples to individual pads via drum rack. I've built a custom layout with the two bottom quadrants as drum racks. But when I go to add loops or one shots I can't figure out how to line it up. I know my way around Ableton a bit. BTW I can assign loops etc. on to my LPX but I can't figure out how to purposefully line the loops up.

Do you know a way to turn launchpad X to its normal mode and functionality? Thanks, i really can't find any information anyware on the internet.
How do u use the track outside of launchpad x I have some awesome songs but can't work out how to use them outside of ableton or add vocals over the top any advise would be brillent

For vocals, you just use the mic as an external instrument and record it as usual (although you probably will want to comp the vocals, which is a recent addition to Ableton's feature set so look up a tut, is my advice)

it doesn't arm automatically the second one is right
I recommend learning how Ableton Live works by watching tutorial videos, reading the manual and reading up on forums.
