Great that he's finding meaning for himslef, but it's totally unobtainable for most people. This guy is the epitome of the burnout society. You're not valuable unless your "productive". Productive meaning useful for capital interests.

Geez. What a missed opportunity of a talk. Got very little form this. Meaning stuff at the end was nice, but the rest? A big plug for your site sprinkled with a laundry list of accomplishments. Almost nothing in here about what people actually wanted to hear about: what worked? What techniques brought YOU the most joy and happiness? Very disappointing. Of course I can look on his site. The point of a TED Talk is to provide value though. Not to funnel.

He proved the point,You just didn't get it.

Louelok No, I do. I just think it's one that wasn't befitting a talk of this length in this venue. Shame on the event organizers.

I don't think the event was big though. When you look at the amount of people in there, it seems like the auditorium is small too.

After trekking out on my own personal "Year of productivity" this January, I found your website in June or July, and have since bookmarked it and read perhaps a dozen or so of your articles. You are doing a great job, Chris and honestly I look forward to seeing more of your work. It's great to see someone following their dreams, and one that happens to be so meaningful not just to your own life, but to mankind as a whole.
I really hope that your project continues to grow because people like you need to be alive in this day and age.

Great job buddy! I love the message. Follow your desired path (or passions) put in the work and you'll fill your life with meaning, which at the end of the day is all that really matters

Thank you for this Chris. I appreciate those 3 key words, pleasure, engagement, meaning. WOW! Am starting your Productivity Project book as I gradually return to work after 2 years off. Burn out and depression. I am sure it will help me get on the right track. Again thanks and Happy New Year. Will be following you.
