Hi Ann, When next you use that process for butt-joining chip board try using a piece of silicone-coated parchment paper on your work surface to keep your project from sticking to the table pad. And tfs!
My husband just made me slew of wall to wall shelves for my craft room and these would do very nicely thank you very much!! Really lovely! The feet are a nice touch but I'll think would be just a bit too high to work so I'll pass on those cute bits!

Im sorry but I'm sounding the waffle alarm!...
Ok... When I was planning out my art, craft & nail space I had to keep in mind that we had no allowance, no inheritance, no savings and basically "NO" bloody money! Fortunately most of my storage I had in some way shape or form, but there were a few storage solutions that I really really reeeeeally neeeded, like marker pen storage, my husband rescued a solid wood cd rack which was 6ft 5in, so we cut it in half painted it with "slate grey gloss which had rose gold chunky glitters in it" it looks gorgeous! and we then mounted it to the wall, I then added a couple of diagonal pieces of hard board (which I edged with the same fabric I used on my footstool and guest chair) to help the markers look less lonely and spread apart...
Im also putting copper hooks under the shelf so I hang important tools and equipment that I reach for daily...

When I saw the box was made of such thick board, I thought I would not be able to saw it up !! Seeing you cut it so easily with a Stanley knife was great. Going to order the board and glue and have some fun 💖💖💖
When it got delivered I thought what!!! How the hell can I cut that lol. I will be buying more now! I love the stuff xx

Another awesome project! Ordered (in the USA) some 100pt chipboard, the miter tool and brown tape so I can play along. I love making things and thanks for showing us how.
Gorgeous would you say that glue is comparable to Colall, or Art glitter?
This is so nice for stamps. I learned something personally this weekend when I made a project out of this 3m hardboard. I stacked markers by color in sections and the next day it was sagging big time. I laughed and said I'll make something else then. This morning markers started falling out from the deep sag. The reason I share my humiliation is to say if you are going to put stuff of weight in the box, double up the hardboard and glue two together. I had done that for the sides, to help it stay straight. I just never dreamed the markers would make it slope lol. So I hope others can benefit from my shame. Beautiful box Ann.

The purple combo looks awesome, it's my fave color too! I've made something a bit similar but not as big as yours, because it's hard to get those thicker chipboards deliver to Hawaii I've used foam boards when I made mines and it worked out just as sturdy with all my crafty things inside of it.

What does PVA mean? I recommend using wax paper under your pieces &use them where glue might drip while it dries, easy to remove & won’t ruin work surface
I love this! You always make the best boxes and things. I had your other box that I was going to do for my 6 by 6 stencils and embossing folders, but I never got my chipboard. Now I'm glad because I want to make this one instead. I absolutely love that paper pad, but it doesn't seem to be available here in the US. But I'm sure if I search I can find something similar. Of course it's got to be purple LOL I think I will put only one divider in it but my stencils and one part in my embossing folders in the other side the embossing folders are falling over onto the stencils. Love it, you're a genius! 😙

I love this and really appreciate your clear and precise instructions. I’m also excited to see that corner tool. I need one. One question: I watched your distress ink pad storage video and you did not brush on the glue - so, is that just a preference this time? Thanks so much!
It will give a much more smoother and professional look. Plus I found that bits of the paper in the corners woukd peel away as I missed it with glue. If you use a brush it doesn't :-) x

I’m sorry, but what is PVA glue? Is it Elmer’s glue, white glue, white wood glue, mod podge , E6000, super glue, or something else entirely? Sorry, but I have never seen glue labeled that way in an American craft store.
