    Fun thing: when I was a kid, I thought, that Siris in IB2 just weakened by injuries, that lead him to death. And he, basicly, have to train himself again(learn how to walk, how to hold the sword, etc)

      Same like i thought the keys weaken him worse than the door to the worker

    IB 1 u die and get turn into a baby and lose your memory from the previous life that why it says 20 years or less or more. IB2 you die and your body gets dragged to the rebirth chamber to basically heal and siris make the journey back to free the worker. IB3 once you’re done with the mission they kill them yourself or if you die from combat there’s already a healthy body for you in the rebirth chamber that’s why it says two hours or less or more.

    Why is it that I found it funny how you just put a random sprite form of ryth when you talked about enemies

    I could easily see Tel taking on some type of huge stone quadruped form to carry back Siris. We’ve seen in the books he can change form to whatever he wants from his surroundings on the fly. Don’t know about how he crosses the water though.

    Makes sense, in Ib1 everytime you rebirth siris I assume says “father I will avenge you” is this actually just siris being reborn? Or are they actually sons of each other. Because I know the god king used his bloodline to get the infinity blade active to actually kill the deathless correct? So when you first play the games intro I assume you are just siris being rebirthed over and over. I was always confused on this as in the other games he is aware of his death and what happened previously.

      You'd be correct: almost every sacrifice you see is just Siris, or rather, Ausar, being reborn over and over again. For those that weren't Ausar, you have cases like Archarin, the guy in the basement. He was a son that one "incarnation" of Ausar had that became the Sacrifice and instead joined the God King as you can do when you fight him in-game.

    Somewhat off topic, but when the worker kills for instance thane by touching him or radriar with the blade, are they truly dead? Because in ib3 a soulless god king is present as well as a distorted version of thane, this always confused me.

    • @TheArchivistIB

      Those are actually two very different cases. When the Worker killed Raidriar with the Infinity Blade he was killed for good. Not only was his body killed but the blade destabilized his QIP, granting him true death. Those soulless copies of him you see are just bodies without souls/QIPs. In the case of Thane on the other hand, what happened to him was almost worse than death. While his QIP was destabilized by the Worker, his body wasn't killed by a blade or anything, leading to his QIP becoming corrupted as a result. The Thane you see in IB3 is the same Thane, but with a corrupted QIP.

    How do they get their old gear back once in a new body? Is it just game design?

    • @TheArchivistIB
      @TheArchivistIB  5 месяцев назад +3

      At least in part. To correct the video, in IB2, the body is the same, so he'd keep the equipment. In IB3, on the other hand, it would be incinerated alongside the body. You could always teleport the equipment home though, we just don't know that that's what happens.
