I was in Rome when you filmed this. My visit took place on October 10th. What you said about the importance of the tour guided visit is absolutely true. I didn't book a guided tour and was forced to eavesdrop a group of tourist that had hired a tour guide
Another incredible video from you We can see exactly what to expect when we enter. I think I might go for the evening tour I found. I'd like to see it lit up at night. Also ,interesting to visit underground, where beasts and gladiators waited..That area was not open to visitors the last time I was in Rome
The best way is to explore the colosseum by yourself. Do your homework about the history before you visit. If you book a guided tour, it's going in and out for a short time. My wife and I explored the inside for almost 3,5 hours, and then we went to the other side to roam around the Palatine Hill and Forum Romanum for another couple of hours. Al by ourselves. That €27 per person was well spent!
Exploring the Colosseum by yourself is a waste of money as I've said in the video. It doesn't make any sense Spending 3 to 10 hours inside the Colosseum and being clueless of what you see. There is so much information about the Colosseum you won't find online. I suggest you do the guided tour next time if you can and you will see the difference.
Those 'guides' are just paid google services. You can do that by yourself and save money. Spend time talking to actual historians like my wife did and then visit the historical sites with all the information you got from people who actually studied and didn't use google.
There's Viator, city wonder, getyourguide and many more. They are all certified by the government. You can use Google to search for the price you can afford.
Very good my friend..and good luck always ..❤️❤️👍👍🙏🙏

Great.
Italian cities are really big
Rom, ich vermisse Dich.
14:42 The center area is covered with so many things. Where did the events take place then ? ( Like gladiator's fighting etc )
It’s so huge 😮
Can you recommend sites where we could book a tour?
