I want to know the result of measuring Kim Yu-na's jump with the Fuji TV figure system. In the history of figure skating, there are few players who jump as standard jumps, and I'm proud to have such a player from a country that does not have a dedicated rink for figure skating, let alone an individual rink. These days, women's singles, men's singles, and standard jumpers are rare. Even if you make a mistake, it's just a battle of national strength to get points.
I think there is a value to keep even as time goes by. Nowadays, there are no players who can play all kinds of jumps without cheating skills, so skills and judgments have been dumbed down. Currently, active players do high-level jumps such as 3A or quad, is it really 3 1/2 rounds or 4 rounds? Other players will be able to improve only when the person who rotates in advance or jumps without a full blade, but players who can't jump without cheating skills sweep the podium and get high scores even if they use cheating skills, which is a justification. (Part of Hanyu's Waseda University paper) Coaches from around the world teach cheating skills to their students because they don't get points even if they use cheating skills. (The level of receiving additional points varies depending on national power, but this is crazy.) Kim Yu-na's Vancouver Olympics was the cleanest jump in figure skating history, and she could feel her soul in figure skating.
I'll never forge that her mother died of a heart attack two days prior to the Olympics and she went on the ice and had the performance of her lifetime. She now works as a doctor. What an incredible woman.
I love seeing her skate. I never was there to watch her perform in 2010 but I could feel how extraordinary her performance was even through a mere video. Outstanding.

It's unfair? If she had been able to do the triple Lutz with a proper edge, Or, if it were possible to do 3-3 jumps in a row, there would be no need to force the triple axel. Rather, it is more unfair that the axel is allowed twice.
@@dinh5532 10.10 points were given for the axel combo in the short. Back then you had to complete a double axel no matter what for women’s skating in the short. Mao Asada had her triple axel (the hardest jump for a woman at the time) and wanted to showcase it in the short, however you still need to put a double axel in there to get credit. Now women are allowed to do a triple axel in the short without needing to put the double axel in as well. She basically would have gotten 3-4 points of a higher score if the rules were how they are today. So in other words she got a lesser score than yuna because she completed the most difficult jump for a woman at the time. In my eyes it’s totally unfair, just like it’s unfair that women can’t do quads in the short program but men can. Trusova may have even won if quads were allowed in the short.
