@@Dr.WhetFarts What I wrote is not the rocket science, I do not know what you do not understand... You can run those settings on any 250$ Motherboard. So this MB is not "The Best" for 9800X3D.
I have a 5800x3d paired with an RTX 4080. The funny thing is, I do want to upgrade to 9800x3d, but I run all my games comfortably above 90 fps. So why should I upgrade?
I was the same and made the jump not because I needed it but because I build a whole new PC every 5 years, except for the RTX 4070 super and 5800X3D all parts were from 2019. Initially went from 3900X and got 5800X3D on sale for 280€ figured that was a cheap upgrade and took it, that gave me about 20FPS up to 60 FPS in most games, then came the 7800X3D which practically gave no uplift (10% or less based on test from friends PC with same GPU). My reasoning here was that I could afford it and that going from 2019 hardware (AM4 and zen2) to 2024 (AM5 and Zen5) seemed enough of a jump in performance and future proofing to make sure I would not struggle to run any game in 1440P regardless of settings. going to DDR5 6400MT and 9800X3D gave me at least 40FPS and in some games up to 120FPS and even more in competitive games like Valorant and such. Now if you play in 1440P you are fine you can wait few years before upgrading, I would say when new Consoles Generation from Playstation or Xbox comes out sounds good time to change as they will be baseline for game graphics and quality (Low-medium quality in terms of PC settings). If you play in 4K with that 4080 you could need that upgrade pretty soon. other change you could make to up your game is change to a better monitor, this can drastically improve how games look and make your hardware that seemed aging feel like new.
I have both. My PC is a 5800X3D with a 6900XT, custom loop. And my wife's new build I just finished is a 9800X3D with a 7900XTX. It's definitely faster, but in most games mine is still in the 150 fps or above so I'm not upgrading for another year or two. And I could get very nearly the same performance by just upgrading the GPU. Which I might do soon when the new cards come out.

I'm upgrading from a 3800x to 9800x3d and a 4060 (replaced my dead 2080 Super that was good in its day) with a 5080 or 5090. Part of the push was knowing tariffs will likely come (whether it's 10% or 50%, something will happen), and the other part was it meant I could either replace my media computer in the living room (i5 7600 that can't do Windows 11) or my girlfriend could use it as a decent rig. I did upgrade the old one to a Arc B580. But if not for the threat of tariffs, I'd be waiting at least one more year before building. The old computer still works, though the 4060 had its limitations, and expanding much more would likely make the CPU become limiting.
