Thanks Ed. Been playing since last Oct and loving the Barge videos. I’m enjoying the rhythm tunes especially. Cheers
thanks, great you're enjoying em' ! :)
The groove will be a long time coming but I'm going for it.
Thank you that was nice I will practice
My band does "Fade Away," and I play that pattern on the tune!
you are filling a gap with the rhythm lessons. Well taught. Pretty sure that you will get thousands of views. Keep it on and cheers ;)
Really enjoying your sessions, particularly on rhythm, it’s a bit challenging as I’m old boy now and find the breath control a bit difficult. So pleased I’ve found your channel 😊
Wonderful! keep going, the breathing gets easier the more you play- hopefully !
Love your videos. Inspiring. Explained really clearly. Not many teaching rhythm harp and as you say it is so important. Thanks so much.
that's great to hear, thanks very much for your comment! all the best, Ed
Ed Thank you very much ! Really enjoy your lessons and teaching style 👍👍
great lesson, thanks a lot
I’m gonna have to try Marine Band as you suggest. I’ve settled into Lee Oskar’s for bend-ability after trying Hohner 20 Specials and other brands.
I actually don’t really recommend regular marine bands.
Crossovers are wonderful if you can afford, otherwise I recommend special 20 or rocket
another great lesson.. Thanks ...
Sure, nice idea!
I am hoping that this is answer on my question. If it is , excellent !
Who Do You Love? - George Thorogood cover!!
Great lesson please can you elaborate more on using tongue articulation? May be another lesson. Thanks
Tony Taylor , glad you enjoyed the lesson.
Sure no probs- also check out my ‘fast rhythm articulation lesson’.
Thanks Ed. At 7:16 when you said you were improvising on the rhythm, how did you do those extra stutter breaths? I love that. Thanks a bunch, -M
starting to articulate with the tongue, check out my video on how to play fast rhythms!
Thanks a bunch. Your videos are super awesome. Aside from your first video, do you have any other instructional videos on this bo diddley type of rhythm? It seems like the sky's the limit with what you can do with this.
Happy harping, 😊
Thanks Michael- I need to make a part 3!!
Hello, would you say BIG RIVER harmonics are OK?
never tried myself but I hear they are ok. :)
Can you explain the rhythm of music at the end of the video ?
Hello, as in right at the very end for the outro music or as part of the Bo Diddley groove?
I was thinking of the music that ends all your videos. It have very interesting rhythmic beginning .
Ah yes, that’s a song of mine called ‘Hammond’s place’
I’m doing a vamp in second position that’s made by a breathing pattern and some tongue block accents. All on a Bb harp if I remember correctly!
Hope that helps.
Can you make a video about it? By the way, it is wonderful song :)
