Well, this is it: the last gas-powered Lotus that will ever be. The Emira is a love letter to the dying age of the light-weight manual-transmission sports car.
I'll just spoil the ending right now: you are going to want one, and if you can, you should buy one.

Thank you for the video. Do you think you would order one for yourself after driving it or wait for something else?
Got my Magma Red on Weds and I also have an I4 on order as I need an auto for daily use in traffic.
I believe he just called me a "chump" lol
Lost me at “this is the first lotus I’ve ever driven”
An Evora facelift with more weight because of creature comforts ❤ not entirely a bad thing if they make it more reliable
I am so happy that you unapologetically call people who buy this car in A/T chumps. Bravo my friend.
Nicely done!
It is way more visceral than any mid engine car Inhave driven short of a GT4RS or Mclaren 600LT, and somehow excels at all enthusiasts use cases unless you are a die hard track junkie
Closer 3300*. Somebody weighed theirs with 3/4 gas tank and it topped the scales at 3278. With a 15 gallon tank, it’ll be hitting 3300 easily… still lighter than a C8, but a heavier than an evora
You should sell cars for Lotus! You drove this thing 10 miles. All you have is praise for Lotus and damnation for Porsche. You should do some research? There have been a few problems, as usual, along the way for this vehicle. The Cayman and Boxter are great and should prove far less problematic than Lotus ownership. I own a Supra that'll run rings around this thing all day long for 20 grand less! One thing the Lotus definitely has in it's favor, it is gorgeous.
Show us where on the diagram the Lotus hurt you.
@@DiZdain I like the lotus. You probably don't know their history?
There is a drag race with the emira and supra. Supra lost
Same level as a Porsche? Hahahahahahaha
I've driven a GT4 in the canyons and own an Emira. I prefer the Emira.
Lotus is better than Porsche. Just take a look at the lotus evija

"This is the best manual gearbox I have ever driven" - self-admitting noob
🤮 👎🏼
Colossal waste of good money. 🤢
Zero Canadian interest in this car
To each, their own. It’s not a bad thing that we each have our own opinions and don’t all like the exact same things. BTW, Throttle House is based in Canada and ordered one.
idk about that i happily wasted mine. no regrets.
Late, and boring.
