Dont like the grip on the satas. The rear hand rest under the air adjustment valve is too low for my grip. Feels unnatural in my hand. Good for quick clear pumping, but rocking my dv1 1.3 clear for work. Work for bmw, and paint 6 - 8 booths a day so ergonomy is a big priority
Depends on what kind of air flow you have.... You must play around with pressures to find what works best for your other equipment.. 33psi is too high for me at the paint shop using a rotary screw compressor / air dryer / with high flow lines for HVLP..My Satas are running at 21-27psi at max depending on what im spraying.....
I have tried every pressure there is with that harbor freight gun I bought the best one they had still can’t get it to lay flat so disappointed man having to sand and buff everything thing you do.
I agree. Honestly I bought into the hype of the gun cause comparing it to my 5000 there is not that much of a difference. It looks cool. My walcom hte clear is by far more superior in slickness and being way more efficient.

How many turns out with the fluid do you recommend for the sata 5500x 1.3 rp when doing clear?

Definitely recommend it brother. I use a 1.3 which is different from always using a 1.4 but I like it.
