RARELY now any parents act like this... I am sorry if u have such parents, but u don't have to state "India"..
EXACTLY! Dhar's vids on India make it seem as if indian families torment their child in the name on 'traditions' and as if if one wants to be truly 'modernized' they need to rise above indian traditions. What s shitty take. Plus all these guys in the comments saying 'i relate as an indian' no bruh you relate cuz ur fam homophobic too not cuz u are an indian
Exactly, i think that DharMann must actually use more facts in his videos so that it is better for the community to not get the wrong idea about Indian Culture. btw huge fan :)
Wait what do you mean? It's better if couples are living happily together And arrange marriage is also good if couple found themselves loving and understanding
It isn't a cultural stereotype when it's true. Plus, reinforcing would be more of making the stereotypes more believable, when Dhar is just (as cringey as it is), actually being realistic in the scenario and playfully dismantling it. Besides, it's a fictional story, not a horror movie.

This is something I struggle with along with many people in the world and it would be nice to see characters people can connect with a little more

@@shadowxpo25 man that was such a sick burn dude !!! 😂😂😂
I remember seeing Latika and her “Mom” in one of Dhar Mann’s video that he posted before, I’m so excited to watch part 2! I love all of your videos Dhar! I hope you have an amazing day/night!!😊😊
As much as I appreciate Dhar Mann, I think this is a little more old school and not the exact story about Indian parents anymore. I can at least say that mine would allow me to follow my dreams and choose who I want to be.
this is correct, younger parents are now thinking differently and letting their child have freedom
YES
People in the comments : being an Indian, I could relate, "being an Indian", "in India"
Etc etc
Just say "I can relate or something"
Not all indian parents are controlling and religious, and believe that arrange marriage is the only way..
RARELY now any parents act like this...
I am sorry if u have such parents, but u don't have to state "India"..
@@navya_04 ye im an Indian and it’s not like that lol
Bits of culture is still implied but not this serious

@@ultimavioletb1599 Not all the time I would know i'm indian
@@DeltaBrawler I'm well aware it's not all the time.
It isn't a cultural stereotype when it's true. Plus, reinforcing would be more of making the stereotypes more believable, when Dhar is just (as cringey as it is), actually being realistic in the scenario and playfully dismantling it. Besides, it's a fictional story, not a horror movie.
Producer: How many stereotypes do I want in this?

Hey Dhar! First, I just want to say I love your videos. They are entertaining and teach good lessons. I just have a question: do you think you could do some videos about mental health struggles like anxiety and depression and self harm. I know these topics might be a little heavy for this channel, but I think more people should know more about it and these videos can help teach them. 2:16 "Dev what are you doing, open the door!"

5:21 ""Let's go, let's go."
9:40 "Go" (That part was mistranslated)

13:09 "Alright, we have reached."
13:13 "Okay tell me one thing."
13:32 "Don't create a scene."
Chalo means let's go. Beta is a sweet way of calling your son or daughter, it's equivalent to saying sweetie or honey. Bahenji is referring to a female who is older than you. Babiji is used by males who are younger than the female they are talking to.💖 On the side note this is pretty common among the desi culture to listen to the parents even in marriages. It's pretty toxic to not listen to what the child wants honestly.
