    Are these stitches that you came up with, or have they been around before? One year new to crochet so I don't know all the stitches but a great idea about printing out stitch patterns and creating a booklet with them all. When I decide to make a top, I like to figure out what neat patterns I want in it, so I'm always checking out everyone's stitch patterns! Thank you!

      This stitch pattern has been around for awhile, I just modified it by one stitch.

      My suggestion is to do sample swatches and put those with your patterns in those plastic sleeves in a 3-ring binder. That way you know you've crocheted the stitch and what it actually looks like.
      Also write down what yarn and hook you used in your sample and if you liked it, or not. And it would help to write any notes like where you printed it and the RUclips video name.
      Just a suggestion, but it will help later.

    Love this pattern. Thank you. How do you figure out how many skeins of yarn you would be needing for a regular size Afghan?

  • @debishipman2761
    @debishipman2761 3 года назад

    I love this stitch. You get the bobble/popcorn look without all that extra yarn. Question: Cam you do a hdc or a dc on the return row? I know it would space the bobble rows farther apart, but would it look okay?

    • @CreativeGrandma
      @CreativeGrandma  3 года назад

      I think you could try it and see if you like it, I am sure it would look ok and work up a lot faster.
