    I was a spider in the late 90s and your amenities in locker room are 10 times better but we're pretty sweet now when I goto alumni games. wish I was 18 years younger. college is the best baseball time club ball sucks you live like a bum in comparison and a slump can end your career at a drop of a dime so love it now

    When u get older is pitching Still scary I am a 11 year old all star player also a pitcher throws 60-63 mph and can throw a curve and slider change up and fast ball I look forward to doing what u are doing when I am older this was a very good vid

    • @usaathletes5220
      @usaathletes5220 8 лет назад

      Hey man, throwing that hard already? That is awesome!!!!! And no pitching is not scary later on in your career, what happens is that you work so hard to be there on the mound that that fear you feel now becomes a challenge you learn to enjoy. Make sure you start working on whatever feeling you get on the mound, handle it as a challenge that you got to overcome. And that starts today. The sooner you beat that fear the sooner you will start feeling more relaxed and start throwing harder and with more control. You control the game, don't let the fear of playing the game control you. I hope this helps man and make sure you subscribe.

    • @ewoksgaming1562
      @ewoksgaming1562 8 лет назад +2

      You shouldn't be throwing a curve or slider that young, just stick to fastballs (2 seam, 4 seam, cutter, etc.) and changeups so you don't hurt your arm

    • @muckeindhoven2710
      @muckeindhoven2710 8 лет назад +2

      Wait with throwing curveballs until your 16 because if you throw curveballs when your 11 your arm is going to hurt really bad

      Jose Torres hey thanks I have been playing baseball for about 5 years now and I've been playing catcher for a long time and I am 8th grade right now I will be playing high school ball next year and I have went to a scouting camp at Notre dame and I live half way across the country and that is the school that I want to go to do you think that scout camp will give me a chance to go there

    • @elfegotorres
      @elfegotorres  10 лет назад +3

      devin derda youre too young for the school to decide if you will have the avility to play for them or not, you said you have been a catcher for some years now, in high school baseball will be a little different. you might end up having a great arm and your velocity will sytart to increase rapidly if you do the right workouts and work hard. Notre Dame will not make any decisions yet for you. If I was you I would take the experience from those camps to learn more about the game. When youre a Sophomore and Junior in Highschool, thoise are the years you want to spend more time on camps on not just one Collebe but as many as you can. Remember not just because you want to go to one school, you should close the door to all others. Keep the doors open and keep working hard, coaches will make decisions at the right time.

      I'm a sophomore too and 6'1. Speed is a lot of just good mechanics I'm 120 pounds and am not that muscular and throw low 80s my mechanics are are pretty refined. After mechanics comes strength for me hopefully I'll be throwing low 90 next year

    • @elfegotorres

      As a freshmen is really hard to explain what you should look like my friend. Keep in touch and once you're a sophomore or junior let me know and we can discuss some other things.
