You are most welcome. We tried to ensure our videos contained the information we wished we would have had before we took the trip. Would have been great to know what to expect rather than flying blind. That is why we joined an organized caravan rather than winging it.
Sorry for the late reply...somehow this got lost in our inbox. Yes, the driving was stressful because we had such a large rig. Not nearly so bad if you had a small Class C, but we travelled with a 30' fifth wheel pulled by a Ford F350 long box truck. You are correct - our final destination was Playa Santispac.
Hi Jose, You will need a passport to enter Mexico or valid Sentri ID if you are part of the trusted traveler program. You will also need to have a valid FMM (tourist visa). The FMM can be purchased online or at the border and you will need to have it stamped at the border in order to be valid. The FMM allows for a stay of up to 180 days in Mexico for you and your vehicle. We usually drive to the border the day before and walk in to purchase our FMM's prior to driving across the next day.
Thank you for taking the time and effort to make the video.

That looked like pretty stressful driving! (The picture at the end looks like Playa Santispac)
It was extremely stressful driving. Needed a lot of wine that night!

Thank you!
Crossing from Tecate into CA by car, will my CA ID be enough? Do they scan the ID or just check it and ask a few questions?
