@@SalesTaxin push more power from the stock engine, rb26 encounters problems around 500hp but the 2jz can handle well up to 1000 with stock internals, plus the jz was a bigger 3l inline 6 so it has that going for it, the jz has objectively more tuning ability with aftermarket parts and has the famous toyota reliability which as much as people say nissan does too the rb26 just does not have, from personal experience these engines are alot less reliable then a 2jz especially after mods

All three can make a respectable 500+ HP stock but still pushing it and risk blowing the motor so that argument is invalid. All tho I’d trust the Honda motor over the other two as far as reliability.

YES! This is what building is all about, a good engine is good no matter where you put it in. And those K engines are cheap and plentiful. Try building RB for anything as cheap. Respect for the build!

as someone who desnt have deep pockets these are my favorite builds because you can thrash the motor worry free and if it blows you can simply junkyard shop and swap everything over and be back running at a fraction the cost of a rb,sure the initial cost of the swap takes deep pockets but the fact you dont have to stress on blowing motor makes these builds far more fun and stress free. I used to wish i kept the ka in my sr s13 and went kat because the reasons above,sadly the ka today costs as much as my sr did 10 years ago.

Sam if you are in Phoenix come to tucson. People there come down 2 hours for mount lemon. A 14 15 mile road that goes from 2k feet to over 9k feet of elevation. Every drift week that's come to az goes to mussleman nobody has hit mount lemon. And they are 20 mins apart. In my ser spec v and my z 80 90 mph corners. Phx 100x the car scene but they still come to tucson for mount lemon
My mum makes golden syrup dumplings on special occasions. Nice with custard and cream 👌. Im from Perth WA. I used to drift and love drifting. 4 door r32 with rb25/30 is my favourite combo.
The R34 Type R.....limited to 1 unit...hated by many, loved by many, but it's sick tho, never thought someone would drop a K24 into a skyline, let alone a 34 lol
That high revving Honda VTEC sound compared to the torquey turbo RB engines is one of the reasons I still have never owned a Honda but every other Japanese make. Great engines and engineering, just could never handle the sound they produce without proper expensive custom or JDM exhaust setup. Cool swap but still similar to the multitude of JZ, and LS cars. K swaps are the same imo.
I love quirky builds like this... It really show you can do anything to any car... Heck even the ROCKSTAR drift team took a Scion iM and made it a drift car..... I also see lots of people swapping 2ZZGE (CELICA GTS ENGINES) into small Echo/Yaris... Makes them litteral go karts..
