- Afik is an Israeli settlement organized as a kibbutz in the Golan Heights. It was established in 1972. Economic branches include agriculture (seasonal vegetables, pulses, and fruit orchards), dairy cattle and chicken coops. The kibbutz also operates several factories in partnership with Yifat such as Afic Printing Solutions, which produces toners and ink cartridges. Afik shares ownership of Hamat Gader, a hot mineral springs health resort, with three other kibbutzim. Another source of employment is the Orhan Afik guesthouse.

I stayed at this kibbutz in 1977 - for about 5 months. It looks so different now. At the time I was there, there were man-made fish ponds, and a delightful woman “Rosa” who ran the clothing booth. There was a significant number of Dutch and Scandinavian people living and working there in 1977.
Wow! Have you been back to Israel since 1977? Time for another visit 😀
Seeing this on October, 18th 2023. It makes me so sad. Who would have known. I hope this lady is ok.
I truly hope this was not the one attacked by the terrorists? They show it on the news here in Chicago USA n I am heart broken. My prayers are with all those who are grieving. #GodProtectsIsrael
It's not. This one is far north of Gaza. The one that was attacked is kfar aza kibbutz.
wow!how good to see after all this time!metsouyan!shalom lekoulam!(Charel,'87)
Imagine if Israel had no neighbouring security issues.
Such a beautiful country.
We keep sending you prayers and The Holy Spirit to guide you because from the media there's a lot going on and only God's intervention will help
How nice and peaceful that would be! Thank you for your prayers!
I love the kibbitz life style
What a beautiful kibbutz! I was on Ma'abarot in 1977 for a year and often wonder if I should have gone back to stay.
Come back and visit🤩
Cool! I saw more of Afik in this video than I’ve seen living 15 minutes away for all these years! 😬 so thank you. That pool looks awesome and I want to check out those new homes going up (the round one looked interesting and did I see a house with an actual American style garage?!).
The pool was seriously beautiful! Yes lots of lovely homes going up and indeed some did have an American style of build.
All the towns and kibbutzim in the Golan Heights are beautiful now I'm having a different time deciding in which one I want to live!
Are you ok?
@@LunaBobbi No she is a zionist. Mental disease.
Kagum saya pada kalian bangsa yang kuat juga hebat Tuhan berkati.
Thank you. May God bless you!
Love Kibbutz life
Even if as they say you have stolen the land, at least you made good use of it, and share it with each other. God bless.
This is a supremist outlook and inaccurate. Did you know Palestinians had cities, like Haifa, rivaling Paris and Belgium? Or that they are among the most educated ppl in the world? Or that their farms produced arguable the best olive oil in the region? Please read, then post next time.
@@handsanitiser9832 I know, like most people in the world. My comment was actually sarcastic :)
@@behzadutube Great!
@@handsanitiser9832 educated people did the mass slaughter on October 7th?
@behzadutube the UN didn't allow land theft when these kibbutz were built
Oh my goodness I wish I lived in a kibutz
Spectacular! Dream life! 💖
Hppng this lady is 😅k! ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏
Tomorrow morning i start to look at moshavs and which one me and my wife like. Adding to the list to check out.
That's wonderful! Good luck with your search! And please consider subscribing to this channel if you haven't already 😃🙏
Driving places. She can say that again.
😅😉
Are volunteers allowed on this Kibbutz now? My daughter is searching for homelike Kibbutz for gap year or even Aliyah. She is 17.
That's a good question. I can try and find out.
I am from Timor Leste want to join with Gibbutzz
U mean da kibbutz I think
One wonders how many NIS it takes to get one of those homes?
Hey, it all depends, but you can build a home for a bit over 1M NIS
@@meetmeisrael wow-thanks for the "quote".
Isn’t the Afik Kibbutz the one that was recently struck by Hamas? 😢😢
It's their land, and they have the right to take it back, that women admitted that it was established in 1972. There was no kibbutz in this land before 1972. Rather, there were Palestinians there, who were forcibly displaced from their homes, and the kipputz now enjoy the land that they had stolen.
The Palestinians have papers and civil records proving that these lands are theirs
@@chahrazed6143those papers are fake
@chahrazed6143, Jerusalem became the capital of Israel over 3000 years ago. 1600 years BEFORE the birth of Islam. It has belonged to Jews way before "palistine" was made up. Facts are facts. It's very important to educate yourself and not just fall for the propaganda.
@kpetty, this kibbutz is in another part of the country so it was not struck
@@meetmeisrael There were lots of people conquered that land over and over. Hence, it's hard to say who is native and who isn't. Today, Israel belongs to the Jews because the military and the current government is upholding and enforcing their control over that land.
Get a veterinarian to check you cows please.
Why? What did you notice?
Angsty teenagers!
🤣
