When APDS was still good, I think Leo1 was a pretty good tank to play, also it did not get up-tiered often.
But now this thing is not fun anymore.

I still rember when this thing used to be 7.3 - I was amazing back then. But now its 8.0, with basically no changes to it, and uptiers are extremly common. All of the games you play with it are either 8.7 or 9.0. I would honestly say even the T-54 is better than the Leo 1

@MaskFky I 100% agree, this thing is nearly unplayable for it's BR. I was lucky I got that one good match.

Funny how this tank in WoT is considered;
1._ One of the most popular tanks of the game.
2._ The best overall sniping medium tank.
3._ One of the best tanks overall.
I find it funny how you speak and are very concern in the lack of armour in a game where you die in 1 shot with shells that at that tier have live 500 mm of pen lol

Like for its BR (8.0) its not out of place because its about 50/50 for stabilizers and armor is on par with much of tanks with exception to Russia and china
In regards to its elevation speed you just put it on cruise control 1 (or gently press forward on analog stick) and it's good better than quite a few other vehicles that don't have a stabilizer and worse elevation by far

It's not thay bad at its br not the best compared to others but the gun had outstanding handling for not being stablalised just play it as a light and flank it's penatration is outstanding you'll pen most things and the APDS has good spall
