By the sword and horns of Ikenga. Your hair is divine and fit for an African queen. Just a black dude (Jamaican) that loves it when black/SSA women embrace their natural hair. Keep it up and rock that fro!
Hi Igbocurls - I am now natural and trying to learn how to do my hair alone!! No one wants to help. So I just go on RUclips and see what looks good. I am ordering the first two products today because everyone says that moisture is the key to growing natural hair. I am keeping a notebook on good videos and I find you to be very REFRESHING. Thanks a lot.
Ohhhh all of u Nigerians that'll be rocking this natural hair and making it look simple and easy and flawless and just making someone want to go back to the natural fam. Mine was hard and painful and strong and so exhausting to maintain lol. But now I think it's cos I wasn't doing the right thing or using the right methods or products. I recently did a big chop and I've been watching videos and getting educated on this natural hair business and I think I'm ready this time for the natural hair 💪💪💪💪💪💪 p.s. ur hair looks gorgeous btw, it's literally goals 😍😍😍😍😊😊
I love your tip a little goes a long way- so true! I only rotate 3 or 4 oils for specific purposes (1 for prepoo, 1 for detangling, 1 or 2 for general conditioning) and one trusty leave-in conditioner. Besides that it's just one shampoo, one conditioner, one deep conditioner, and a sharp pair of hair scissors that I trim with every 8 weeks. Those are my hair products in a nutshell. I don't regularly use a comb or brush, and I blow dry only on cool setting.
Thank you for this video! I decided to big chop instead of transition and after I BC last week my hair had this weird mossy look and was extremely dry and rough. My products weren't working. I tried the products you recommended but used jojoba oil to seal and it worked perfectly! My hair is SOOOO soft, shiny, moisturized, and looks much healthier.
And so I'm SUPER EXCITED to have found YOU!!! I've been searching for a true 4c with your length for a long time...and viola! Here you are! Educated on 4c hair with the results to prove it!!!!! I've been on this journey for 5 years with SEVERAL ups and downs. Now I'm about to bra length (thus the ups and downs) but the healthier it gets, the longer it gets, the thicker it gets and more work it requires. Can I get an Amen? Lol! Products have come and gone along with stylists and regimes. I'm still here though...and still loving my crown. Anywho, I've subscribed and I'll be keeping in touch. So many videos to catch up on! So many products to try. Thanks for being you and sharing your testimonies along the way. Xo!
I use a hair masque once a week on my hair and that really helps keep it moisturized and smooth. I don't need to put a ton of products on it to make it soft and smooth, nor do I need to use heat. It really works.
Igbocurls hello I am also Nigerian but I'm a guy. My afro is always constantly dry. The only time it is moisturized is the day I wash it and the next day after sleeping, its all matted and dry... it seems like I would have to moisturize every single day?? Because my hair isn't long like a girls to twist it and moisturize low maintenance like yours... how did you take care of your hair when it was in a tiny afro? Please help me on this thanks
I read that Blacks hair is far more shinier than the hair of the rest of the population of the world cuz its shaped different. U can see how shinny natural afro hair is on videos & it far outshines our straight hair. Blacks hair does look beautiful in its natural state.
2 words vegetable glycerin!!!! Glycerin is a humectant. It pulls moisture from the air into your hair shaft. I use water/glycerin as my L in the LOC method. Girl let me tell you my hair is cloud soft and the moisture last me about a week. This is coming from someone with super thirsty hair and used to have to moisturize my hair everyday
I fill my spray bottle with 1/3 pure vegetable glycerin and 2/3 water... play around with the measurements to see how much works for you.. some people feel like its to sticky if you use too much... using glycerin works best if you live in a humid state (i live in Florida. Its sooooo humid!).... please also note that vegetable glycerin has the opposite effect in cold weather since there isn't a lot of moisture in the air
Hi Igobocurls, I am just going natural and your video helped me a lot. I have not one to ask but RUclips gives me a choice of videos. You just helped me solve my biggest problem. How to mosturize fast at night? I am buying the first two products today. Great Job. Thanks!
Can you do a video on how to manage your hair in hot countries, because I'm planning on going to Nigeria but am worried the humidity will mess up my hairstyle as I walk out the door lol
Bwahahaha! That's what happens on a regular basis but what I do is, I put my hair up in a style (you can see some in my previous videos) and wear it for a week while maintaining it with a hair mist as seen in this video.
I live in the caribbean and its hotter than crazy sometimes esp now and my hair just laughs when water goes on it cause in secs it will be dry again, its like if i have to tie a water bucket ontop my head to keep it moisturize
Your hair is awesome. I really love your hair. I need your help.my hair fall off regularly what should I do? I want to start keeping natural hair, should I start with the product you have in your description box.I really have strong hairs.
Thank you for your video, I love your hair it looks so nice and soft! I've been having such DRY hair lately. I'm going to try this and see if it helps, I feel like we have very similar hair texture so I really appreciate your video
Ruuxi Qalbi Your hair is definitly growing, believe me!! Are maybe your ends breaking off so you can't see it??? Btw give your hair some time, use the right products and be kind and take care of it. Massage your scalp everyday for 5minutes with oil, this also helps.
Blessing Beyoncé i take care of my hair every day and night really. i use coconut oil, Olive oil even i use the mixtures of Egg, and Olive oil even not growing😭
thanks for sharing your video,i must say u have a very beautiful natural hair.please i want to ask on how to transition relaxed hair into natural hair without chomping up the hair? thanks.
OMOTOSO VICTORIA ADURAGBEMI , cutting your ends on a regular basis, perhaps every 3 months, can help you to have longer hair because the split ends of hair break off daily, but regularly cutting your split ends prevents the ends from splitting higher and higher, which would lead to a longer area that would be breaking off daily.
me too i love your hair my hair is either 4c r 4b 4a i don't know but it doesn't soft like yours wish it does so it won't give me a hard time to comb out
You have some of the nicest natural hair ive seen on youtube. What advice would u give some african Americans who feel a certain way about wearing their own natural hair?
I'm in the UK, what type of coconut oil can I use like the one you used in this video, which you simply poured out onto you hand (not a cream based oil) ? Thanks
Am I the only one that simply clicked on the video because her hair looks freakin amazing like a beautiful cloud or something?
88BeEazy YESS. I just couldn't stop staring at it. I want to touch it so bad. It's beautiful.

I loveee Lotta body! I use it on my baby and myself.
I read that Blacks hair is far more shinier than the hair of the rest of the population of the world cuz its shaped different. U can see how shinny natural afro hair is on videos & it far outshines our straight hair. Blacks hair does look beautiful in its natural state.
It’s actually less shiny because curls disperse light fall, concentrated light fall is what we view as shiny (straighter hair types)
this video just stopped me from relaxing my hair again. Gonna give this natural thing one more time.
Such beautiful hair😍 so moisturized
awesome beautiful hair well-done!!!
Gorgeous! This is hair goals! The things I'll do to it is omg!
Yes that lotta body is one of my staple products.... I love that stuff and it's only 3$ at Walmart.

Finally I’ve found someone with my daughter texture.
Watching these past videos in 2020 gives me hope that I can get the volume I want. I just have to be patient
Patience is key 🔑

Linda Chucks I thought humidity pertain to rainy climates.
Igbocurls Thanks for the reply I don't usually do updo's but I'll try some while I'm there.
hot + moisture = humidity
I live in the caribbean and its hotter than crazy sometimes esp now and my hair just laughs when water goes on it cause in secs it will be dry again, its like if i have to tie a water bucket ontop my head to keep it moisturize
You are so beautiful, ur smile gives hope, I hope to have full healthy girl soon

Her hair is absolutely soo beautiful! I’d love my hair to be as long and as full as hers! 😍❤️
Thank you! 🤍
true my hair is always dry ..i want to try oil treatment what does it include or what products to use for oil treatment
Hot Oil treatments are fantastic actually. You can use a blend of oils of your choice or a product that is made specifically for hot oil treatments.
Igbocurls If I may, I put a little oil in side my plastic cap an wear it's over night, this will keep your hair moisture
omg i loooooooove your hair :-D
Thank you so much!!!😘
cockolol same its so thick, healthy, long, beautiful and kinky.
Igbocurls hi my hair are not growing plz tell me what can grow my hair😢
Ruuxi Qalbi Your hair is definitly growing, believe me!! Are maybe your ends breaking off so you can't see it??? Btw give your hair some time, use the right products and be kind and take care of it. Massage your scalp everyday for 5minutes with oil, this also helps.

Lovely hair 😘
Thank you!!!😘
thanks for sharing your video,i must say u have a very beautiful natural hair.please i want to ask on how to transition relaxed hair into natural hair without chomping up the hair?
thanks.
I use grease, green tea water and leave in.
hi... you have a really nice hair
my virgin hair has been really stagnant
is it true I have to cut out the ends?? someone said they're probably dead
OMOTOSO VICTORIA ADURAGBEMI cutting your ends has nothin to do with growth. Keep your hair moisturized
Beautiful natural hair 😍
your hair is beautiful. please how do you detangle your natural hair?
It does look soft.
me too i love your hair my hair is either 4c r 4b 4a i don't know but it doesn't soft like yours wish it does so it won't give me a hard time to comb out

You have some of the nicest natural hair ive seen on youtube. What advice would u give some african Americans who feel a certain way about wearing their own natural hair?
How do you come up with these fabulous hair stayles and does your hair shrinks from humidity or by the end if the day?
Yes it does if I leave my hair out but if it’s in a style, it stays put!
I'm in the UK, what type of coconut oil can I use like the one you used in this video, which you simply poured out onto you hand (not a cream based oil) ? Thanks
Gorgeous hair
What lipstick were you wearing in the beginning? 😍
