Welcome back to the US. I once hopped a C130 from Guam to Moffett Field and the plane wasnt heated and was transporting a huge aircraft engine. I sat in a hammock with my feet propped up on the cargo, with only a box lunch to eat. So totally understand your deep appreciation of civilian travel. And i have fond memories of USOs all over. They are true lifesavers. Hope the time till you see your husband passes quickly. Thanks for sharing..i love your videos.
OK let me tell you right now, this comment has made my day! The Navy has been one of the best decisions, one of the hardest and most challenging decisions I’ve ever made. I do not own a house currently, I am in transition to move down to San Diego to be with my husband! I have three years left on my contract. What jobs are you interested in?
@@ShaeTaylorLife I've been watching your channel for a few months now, the interviews with other sailors have been so awesome and your honesty about the navy life is so genuine (thank you so much!). I'm interested in yeoman or IS like you, I think?... but I'm open minded. I should be going to meps end of the month, and then enter dep because I got two more classes to finish up. I am so grateful for people like you who have shared their story and to see your faith, and personality throughout your videos is just really inspiring! I hope to meet sailors like you one day :) thank you
I am so proud of you for making the decision! The Navy has taken me all over the world. I am an intelligence specialist! I would suggest looking into the intelligence rates if you want to get a top-secret clearance. That could benefit you once you get out of the military. Yeoman is good if you enjoy admin work Absolutely! My whole goal was to help others and give the authentic side of the military. It’s not always rainbows and butterflies, but the navy has given me a lot to be thankful for

They didn't issue you a spouse in your sea bag, so you don't need one. Well, that's what they told me back in my day
