You are right, Elzett have been owned by Kaba for a few years now.
They should have 3 spools at 1,3,5 (the rest normal pins) but maybe they mixed it up this time?
But why I like this padlock is because I think it looks much nicer than most padlocks out there :)
(I know it might sound unprofessional to say sth like that, but hey, we're all people :D )

This design is centuries old. I have some older locks with a locking mechanism which is not the same but very close to it.

Great Picking & Lock Bill. The Ruko 2 has the same Locking Mechanism as the Lock in your Video. It's a very cool System and the Little Ruko 2 is very hard to Pick & it can be Picked both ways. Keep up the great work. Nick.

I found an old lock just like this one but could not find the key so decided to give it a try but I'm only using a few pieces of metal wire and I cannot tell what's the end of it is doing as the wire is not solid enough and just bends while trying to push down on the pins. Good for fun tho.

I Have a similar lock to this I bought with no key at a closing locksmiths in my neighborhood. The cylinder is on the side, but everything is so tight I can't even tension the core. Seems to have a keyway like my master 570.

Nice locks, I have one that looks exactly the same but the box says seclox-elzett 2048/45 from Kaba zrt, budapest.
Difficult bitting. Havent got it open.

You might want to try some of mad Bob's picks. They have weird shaped ones. That might help.

Yes, Mad Bob has some nice picks. I would like to buy the ergonomic ones with the wooden handles but i already have too much picks now..

@@tytorubio3271 I like those and the newer ones. Paragon I believe, but I also have a lot. The single ones with a different shape are what interest me more because they could be useful for certain locks. For hard to reach pins.
