- Thriller 40 is the upcoming 40th anniversary edition reissue of American singer Michael Jackson's sixth studio album Thriller (1982). The original album has sold 70 million copies worldwide, making it the best-selling album of all time. Thriller 40 will be released on November 18, 2022, cooperation with Epic, Legacy Recordings and MJJ Productions. It is his first posthumous album in five years since the release of 2017's Scream. Thriller 40 marks the third reissue of the original record, following the 2001 special edition and Thriller 25 (2008).

until now I'm trying to understand why they didn't release this edition on double vinyl, containing the extra songs like on bad 25?. If I already own Thriller 25 why would I buy this one, I'll wait for another edition to come out.
Exactly. This vinyl edition of Thriller 40 is worthless without the bonus tracks. It's the same as normal vinyl. I didn't understand what happened.
Probably limited with the vinyl lead time and they didn’t have the disc 2 track list ready plus the artwork changed! Such a shame as it could have been a beautiful set in silver like the cd.

I ordered this thinking I was getting the same as the cd version got it today but when opening it i was devastated there the exact same as the normal thriller and no difference
Oh God, I thought they buried that dreadful logo....No bonus tracks ? NO THANKS. The MJ Estate continues to drop the ball...smh
No, the logo is still on the vinyl - shocking isn’t it. VERY inconsistent with the CD, don’t look like the same reissue campaign.
Vinyl was disappointing. It just doesn't come with the bonus tracks. My God!

@@relaxtank because it doesn't include the new tracks (I don't even talk about the quality) and besides that, the cover artwork isn't that good at all. For my point of view it's the worst cover artwork they ever made after Michael's death
