i live in new york, I take the train about 5 days a week. I also work in Times Square and let me tell you I get a lot of foreigners who ask where can I go to church I always say a cathedral they say not like a real church a black church they say they want to see them sing. No matter how many times I hear the question I'm so surprised they really come all this way just to come to a black church to hear real soul filled gospel music.
yeah, they are outstanding. The few pitch glitches are highly compensated by the power and the passion in their voices. As the Blues Brothers would say "They are on a mission From God" :-)
I may have mistaken the subway station. I was waiting for a connection train and my hotel was close to 125th. I nort very familiar with NYC, I was there for a short vacation. Are they still singing these days?
