Your Robin Hood's music were haunting me for almost 25-30 years! It was the early 1990's when The Adventures of Robin Hood's vcr was released in Turkey. I think I was around 5-7 years old at that time. I was running around the coffee table while pretending to be Maid Marian chased by the sheriff. And humming the thrilling parts of the music. After more than 25 years I found the cartoon on youtube and watch it again. In your video, those parts of the music are not existing. But thank you, thank you so much! This brings a lot of good memories.
Indeed, very impressive excerpts from these four - up until now - hidden film music gems. I especially love the trumpet theme starting at 4:05. Can't wait for the CD! :)
Could you please upload the music from the Black Arrow? I absolutely adore that piece, it was my childhood....If you are on Spotify, I will absolutely follow you
One day it might be released, so I am not able to upload. Happy you like it so much. In the meantime here is the movie, with the musc, on RUclips ruclips.net/video/B8OGuL1kHak/видео.html
I really enjoyed this Mark. The music is wonderful, but combining it with the children’s book artwork and the excellent portraits make an audiovisual feast.
@markisaacsvideo Since this is only the vol.1 are there any plans for a vol. 2 with another classic of yours, the Black Arrow? I can still recall the powerful main theme.
Thank you for your enquiry and your acknowledgement of the Black Arrow theme. There are no current plans for a Vol. 2 but hopefully it might happen, and if so would very likely include Black Arrow.
An impressive body of work that any composer could be proud of. Staggering, considering the tender age by which they had been conceived, written and orchestrated (and conducted)! I always thought of you as a musical genius :) BTW, who took that 2018 photo of you? So expressive!
