For those with 20 seashells, there was one to the right of Bottle Grotto entrance under a rock. Austin John didn't pick it up. Really enjoying the detailed walkthrough! Thanks!

Quaffie I opted for arrows that allows me 60 and I farmed the crane game to buy the bow. Best investment early on. You can kill annoying jumping/flying enemies. Powder I think 20 is enough, rarely use, Bombs 30 is sufficient. I don't know why everyone pick powder. Do they not know the other options?
I didn't know I had options. It just gave me powder. That stinks. I have the bow too because I grinded too.

If you attack the flying bomb turtles with magic powder they turn into fairies.
Nice tip. I just kept forgetting I had magic powder, even after increasing the the size of the pouch.

Hey there Austin! You should make a series or a montage of only the seashell locations. I'm trying to get them all but want to discover the rest of the game by myself
Tips for the top trendy game items.
For the top left, just move the crane up as far as it goes, and when the platform stops moving right to come back to the left just tap right as fast as you can. The crane should move as little as possible.
For the top right, move all the way up and all the way right but don’t let go of the button(crane won’t drop until you let go). Watch the left edge of the platform as it moves left and note which tassel the left edge of the platform stops at. Now let it move back to the right and start moving left again, when the left edge reaches the tassel before the one it stops at release the button to let the crane drop.
Some items size or shape will be an issue.

I came in here to find out where the secret sea shells are, it literally the hardest thing for me, I'm glad they have a detector I dont remember seeing that in the original game version.

I have been replaying this game and using this guide to get seashells and thanks to the bestest dog to ever chain chomp, bow wow, i have 20 seashells while Austin John Plays here only has 19

Hey Austin at 4:40 you can actually just regular jump across, to get the 50 rupee gem in the chest, I did it on my first try somehow

Technically only in the gameboy versions of this game where you can screen warp can you keep Bowwow. Once you have him just don't talk to his owner after clearing the 3rd dungeon and just screen warp past the walrus twice and keep him for the rest of the game. Just don't enter a building with Marin following you or he dissapears completely. Not sure if caves count though. Great video BTW 😎

It took me FOREVER to get the seashell from the trendy game. I got ALL of the moving platforms long before I finally picked it up after it landed near and in front and on it's side.

I have 10 heart pieces and 20 seashells. I think I mixed something up. An extra seashell! But that one heartpiece oh dang it! Thanks for your video! I wanted to make sure I didn’t return chain chomp too soon. Very helpful much appreciated. This is actually better than BOTW haha

If you hit the little mushroom bomb dropper with the magic powder it turns into a fairy that heals or can be captured in a bottle

You can hit the mushroom bomb things with a sword, if you use magic powder, you'll turn them into a fairy

Is it bad that im kinda just getting the game and im doin some of this in hero mode? Im not too great at the game so in hero mode im set up with the blue gear, always having the revive, and 2 fairies. So ig im pretty stacked rn. It would be kinda hard to die at this point with all the health i have now lol. But i havent completed the game yet so im watching content i have already kinda done
what if.. dampe's not even in his shack? also I paid 42 for my secret medicine when first meeting Tracey... Did i skip something?? I've been following the guide 1 to 1... on my second file btw.. My first one i got through a lot of but I missed a LOT of stuff in it.
I wonder if it is possible to get the upgraded sword by the 5th dungeon in the remake, since you can do so in the original. I'm not sure now, considering you need twice the number of seashells to get the sword in the remake.
So if you already got the heart piece from the trendy game before going with Marin, you can get another after immediately back in after getting kicked out with her accompanying you.
Fun fact! This game started off as a port of A Link to the Past for the Gameboy, thats why theres some similarities

I know I'm late here, but if you go back to Mabe Village and buy bombs before you interact with the Lil' Devil, you can select the "N-no" option, and he'll give you more bombs instead, which I think is better in the early game, being able to hold 60 bombs. You might not need to buy bombs first, but that's the way I did it. You can also tell him no twice to get the arrows upgrade first, again I'm not sure if you need the bow first or not. Happy gaming everybody!

Random question someone please help me lmao. I just turned in some sea shells and unlocked the 30 shell gift. BUT, when I opened it I had to look away from the screen for a second and somehow missed what it was. Can someone tell me what the rewards for each tier are please?
Secret Medicine was a replacement of the traditional Bottled Fairy? That thing has come too late. Should’ve been placed before the fight against Moldorm. I think it’s used once compared to previous games in which you can hold up to 4 or 7 Bottled Fairy.
