An Arkansas motorcyclist who was carrying a backpack with gasoline in it was surrounded by a fireball after a state trooper used a Taser on him during a foot pursuit, authorities said.
An Arkansas State Trooper tried to initiate a traffic stop of Christopher Gaylor, who was driving his motorcycle at approximately 1 a.m. Oct. 13. No license plate was visible, state officials said in a statement to USA TODAY. Gaylor is accused of refusing to comply and speeding up to nearly 100 mph, state police said. He also allegedly ignored multiple stop signs and traffic lights.
Eventually, Gaylor got off his motorcycle in North Little Rock, Arkansas, and attemped to flee before another state trooper deployed a Taser. A “fireball engulfed” Gaylor because he was carrying approximately a gallon of gasoline in a backpack, state officials said in the statement.

True. I feel like it helped out somewhat to keep the fire from really going at it fully. But only the fire extinguisher was the only thing that wouldve put it out completely.

A lot of folks on bikes going long distances carry a little gas with them just in case. Sometimes folks who like to siphon gas from cars carry a little gas on them, just becuase they stole it.
However, the evidence went up in flames. ;)

@@rpg7854Tasers don’t really light people on fire, this guy must’ve been carrying gasoline or something- because that fire definitely had a source of fuel. If police ran around flame throwing suspects, I’d be with ya but.. they had no way of knowing this would be the outcome, they were fully justified in using their taser, and they did all they could to put the fire out once it started.
Plus, I guarantee you that if they’d have used their guns, you’d be saying “why didn’t they use non lethal”…
